4.06.5, checksum JEXF. No India, no other mods, no homebrew alterations. Started the game on 4.06.4, but the death happened in 4.06.5.

The Paulician Patriarch is dead - the Patriarch's title is held by a person who has been dead for decades. See the title history below.

Playing a Merchant Republic in the ERE, the women status on council lawsseem to be bugged.

Option 3 and 5 (Expanded and Equal) allow matrilineal marriage, while option 4 (Marshals) does not.

No, afaik that's simply because the tooltip only shows you what the effect of changing the law would be.
It's not that straightforward arguably, but what this basically means is that even if you change the law to either one of those (3 or 5), matrilineal marriages would still be allowed.
It does not show the effects of your current law (Female Marshals) at all - but if you'd change the law, then the tooltip would show you that matrilieal marriages would be allowed if you'd change back.
At least that's what I think, I might be mistaken of course ^^

Hey, playing 4.06.6, with game version 2.7.2, checksum IQIM.
I've run into a very weird bug where at times my character seems to be allied with the whole world. That does not show in the 'Pacts' screen, but on the diplomacy map mode, it does. At first, I thought it was some special scripted truce system (attacking an ally -100 prestige), but it seems too inconsistent for that.
It appeared with multiple kings.

Sadly I can't exactly say what I did to trigger it, as sometimes I didn't notice right away, but It seems more often right after gaining strong claims.
This is not super pressing or game breaking because restarting and reloading the game solves the issue, but it is a very weird bug nonetheless.

Known, vanilla, can't do anything about it, save and reload.

Apparently reloading the game (quit to desktop, specifically) does the trick.

That being said, this happens way too often. And I mean like, it happens once every 1 or 2 in-game year. By the time you realized the bug is there again, the whole world has already descended into chaos. The Catholic Count of Navarra is already in a Holy War... on the Muslims side. The Knights Templar are helping Sunnis, etc. At speed 5 this is even worst.

I would place this current patch as "unplayable", but that's just me...

bear in mind I'm not 100% certain it's vanilla, but plus doesn't add aliances across the map.

Well no one in the vanilla world has reported this bug yet (this forum, reddit). I've had around an hour of vanilla gameplay since 4.06.6 just to test this hypothesis and I haven't encountered this bug either. (in contrast to having this every 15 minutes in CK2+)

Latest vanilla patch 2.7.2 was released 15th August and CK2+ gameplay didn't have this bug too, not until 4.06.5 was released. (2 september)

So of course nothing I said proves anything 100% either, but me thinks its incredibly likely its patch 4.06.5 that introduced this bug.

I'm getting this once a month(real-time month) I don't see why it would happen more often for you.
There is no special code in Plus that adds alliances, so I really don't know that the issue could be. It happens in other mods too, namely AGOT.

Also, this issue was present since Reaper's Due compatch, so most of your conjecture is false.

The only valid thing you said was that it happens more often on higher speed. Which without a doubt points to game/engine concurrency problem.

EDIT: which CPU do you have?

@FakeShady

If you really can reproduce it so often can you try deleting the "cm_charlemagne_story_events.txt" from events directory in CK2Plus, AND in common/on_actions/00_on_actions.txt find the line with "Plus.373" in it, and remove the entire line? Then try to reproduce. I suspect add_alliance command may be misbehaving.

Because, I've been running a 30 year game now, and no luck.

Also, are you getting it this often on an old save or new game?

Right, so this is what I did for the past hour:

First I took a save game that I started around 2 weeks ago, when 4.06.5 first released. I let the game run and it took me 1 year + 1 month in-game time to get the bug.

I quit without saving and did the following changes. I made a mod that replaces "cm_charlemagne_story_events.txt" with another file of the exact same name, but completely empty. I also removed the line from 00_n_actions.txt and the results are immediate. I've been running the same save file from the same starting point as above and I'm 1 hour in, or 10 years in-game without the bug appearing.

Obviously 10 in-game years is nowhere near conclusive but I will keep running the same save file when I have the time to see if the bug appears again. Me thinks you have found your bug :)

If it helps, the save file is an Irish start where there are many other "allies, cultural bonds" so that could be why i was able to get the bug so frequently. EDIT: nahh scratch that, got it too with Byzantines

!THANKS! Definitely vanilla fault, add_alliance is broken.

Can you re run without fix again. Confirm it appears. KEEP THAT SAVE!
Also, CPU? Operating system?
