Converter expect to see a directory with "binaries/ck3.exe" inside. I assume you have a binaries folder there and then there's some files inside it? Make a screenshot and show me. Like so:still doesnt work
Copy Cursader Kings III.exe to ck3.exe, which is the canonical game name.in the conveter it wont let me select the ck3.exe
I'll ELI5.nope doesnt work
I didn't say to move anything. I said copy.i moved the game and other stuff to the file and made the directory to \binaries, then to \crusader kings lll
didnt work
Also grab Cainite build from the first post of this page. Baltic is outdated.alright it works
no homo i love you
Gamepass install prevents you, the user, from opening/viewing files in its install folders. Thus, the converter which runs under your credentials, cannot open those files either.View attachment 639919
I am not sure what happened, I am running off the Cainite version of the converter and I am playing the Xbox Game Pass version of ck3 and it is the newest update

This is my final game map if that helps at all, any help would be welcome
Here is my ck3 save, a copy of the converter log (file directories redacted), and a screenshot of my province_mappings.Look in mappings for:
Code:link = { ck3 = 8417 eu4 = 1210 } # Gidaya -> Dawaro
If that mapping is there, upload your save to the release thread and I'll take a look, but whoever owns the county of gidaya will be the owner of that province.
Right. In your 1.0.3 save there is no Gidaya. Thus it never maps to Dawaro. We don't actually support anything but the latest versions of both ck3 and eu4.Here is my ck3 save, a copy of the converter log (file directories redacted), and a screenshot of my province_mappings.
To be clear, its a simple fix to just edit the outputted province file manually. So, I'm not expecting any sort of turnaround on this, I'm simply supplying this so that in can help determine what the root cause is in due time. Hope its helpful.
Oh it very much exists.Right. In your 1.0.3 save there is no Gidaya. Thus it never maps to Dawaro. We don't actually support anything but the latest versions of both ck3 and eu4.
No, there is no d_gidaya/c_gidaya in the save itself. It was an 1.0.2 save that didn't have that title which they added in the new patch. If you start a new game you'll see it converts normally.Oh it very much exists.
But just to do my due diligence, I updated CK3 to 1.12, resaved it as a new file, converted that, and got:
So, yeah, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Again, I just manually went in and fixed the mod file for myself so its not a major concern for me. I'm just not sure if the problem is really on my end or if we are overlooking something else. Here's the new updated save file if you want to take a poke around in that.
Thanks again.
