Where did the east bantu and Siberian heritages disappear to from the heritage map? i clearly remember adding them when i did the RICE support, and now if i create i culture of those heritages i get errors. also may i please know who did the update for the RICE support instead of me? it's half done and i need to know what things they did so i don't overwrite them
I honestly wouldn't know, probably got lost at some point. I'd welcome any help in filling out full RICE support.
Vielus did push updates recently and it's as completed as you see the files, ie. If anything's missing please feel free to update the files and upload, and I'll merge them in.

I filled the missing in the RICE support for the converters, please merge it.

i converted my ck3 save where i played as england, and i had formed a custom hybrid culture of anglo-saxon and norse and i named it Ǽnglish. in eu4, Ǽ is not recongised so it comes up as "?nglish". i searched the mod files for ages but i cant seem to find a way to change the culture name? any help would be appreacited.

In localization folder, somewhere.
What do dynamic institutions/ideas do?
Institutions are a leftover from CK2 where for example Renaissance wasn't locked to Italy and similar. Dynamic ideas are used for generating cultural (national) ideas based off cultural traits in CK3. The two aren't related.

i checked the localisation folder, and the culture in question was not there anywhere, but it still showed up in-game. in fact, none of the hybrid cultures were in the localisation folder

Not sure where you looked but they are all there. You should find it at \localisation\replace\converter_l_english.yml

im on windows 7 so the frontend isnt working, but im wondering if there is a resource somwhere that states what the different values do in the config
I pushed an update that should make frontend compatible with win7. Please delete old one, redownload and tell me if it's still not working.

Question:
In my game I want to make my custom Ireland Empire the new HRE, I changed the line in i_am_hre.txt to "hre_mechanics = e_ireland" but it doesn't work. IN EU4 my realm is named "Ireland" with my custom coat of arms. How can I make it work?

p.s. I also tried k_germany, k_burgundy and e_mongol_empire, none would work

edit: I found out why. you have to enable shatter other empires too. Now the problem is to find out what the tag of my custom empire is

Generally, for custom titles you'd need to enable debug mode so you can open the console and the use its internal tools to get the id of the title. Or look into ck3toeu4/saveDump.txt, using a text editor and inside search for your ruler's name. Once you find him copy his ID and then search using that id to see what titles he holds:

Of if you entered a custom title name you can try searching for that too.

Hi, how does religion work for imported HRE'ified titles? I am coming towards the end of a CK3 game where it looks like I'll form a Rome split between Catholics and Astartuans, and would like to HRE'ify it at the kingdom level. Would both Astartu and Catholic rulers be eligible, or just the religion of the last imported emperor? If it's locked to one-or-the-other, can I modify this anywhere in the mod files?

Same as for any other nation, using ruler's culture and religion to set country culture and religion.
Also you can mod anything. Mods are just a collection of txt files describing stuff. You can edit them and change whatever you want.

Sorry, I was talking in terms of emperorship eligibility, which I understand is restricted to Catholic and Protestant in base game (and can only open up to Reformed or Orthodox through the Peace of Westphalia).

Yes, I meant, in the context of the mod produced by the converter, is there a file that says something like:
Emperor eligibility: all of: {Male one of: {Catholic Protestant } }

which I can easily modify so that both Catholic and Astartu are options?

When shattering non-caholic HRE we already enable religious peace. Here, a muslim seljuk empire shattered into a HRE:

With RICE could you consider starting Greenland colonized if it gets integrated with the Greenland struggle thing? (unless that's already a thing)
