The first parent culture determines the EU4 culture group, that EU4 culture group determines Vic2 culture group. How does the converter handle hybrid cultures (using the example where I, head of culture A, create a hybrid culture with culture B), from the perspective of a) EU4 culture groups, and b) V2 (HPM-fork) pan-national movements/core assignation? I couldn't see anything on the wiki.
Thanks!
Incredible! thanks for all the hard work you guys do, its very much appreciated. Happy holidays!Thanx, I pushed a patch that should fix the crashing and allow you to convert it.
My converter is failing on stage 2 (the converting save stage). It says: Converter Error! See log.txt for details - although the details aren't very useful. I tried running the direct converter.exe to see what was going on and the error read: Invalid STOI argument.
Any ideas on how to fix? Thanks!
NB - I'm trying to convert a vanilla save, no mods - Steam version.
Upload log.txt from CK3toEU4 subfolder and also upload the save.My converter is failing on stage 2 (the converting save stage). It says: Converter Error! Probably will. Test it and see.Hello!
I've decided to start a roleplay heavy campaign, and that may include some meddling with county cultures. Will the converter recognise that the county has been converted using the console, or does it function in a similar vein to EU4 to Vic2 where it doesn't?
Apologies - it was my POS anti virus blocking the program but not telling me that it was blocking it...Upload log.txt from CK3toEU4 subfolder and also upload the save.
We generally don't look at heads of faith (except pope I think) and use configurables/religion_map.txt to directly map the religions. Edit it at will.I have a question regarding how Islam converts into Eu4. Every faith that has the Sunni doctrine will fuse into the Sunni religion, or if they have a different head of faith, will they become a separate religion in eu4? (Example: Hafizi and Is'maili both have Shia doctrine, but have different head of faiths. Will they fuse into Shia religion in Eu4, or will they stay separate?)
Hi and thank you for reaching out. Could you elaborate a bit more - you made ideas for which countries exactly? Is there a discord to talk to other people regarding the converter? I dont know where to add new ideas for the converted countries I made
so only a few countries converted over with custom ideas, some of them converted over with the base EU4 ideas like Hispania converted over with Spain's ideas, Francia converted over with France's ideas and Britannia converted over with Great Britain's ideas. What should I do to add custom ideas? Also do yall not have a discord?

You haven't updated the submodules.Have cloned the GitHub code and am trying to run the converter on Linux (Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS) but getting error message.
Am I missing something or missed a step somewhere?
If it's any help, I just pushed an update to the workflow. Delete the converter, reclone it (along with all submodules, recursively) and the try following the script under:Have cloned the GitHub code and am trying to run the converter on Linux (Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS) but getting error message.
