Hello there! Thanks to the whole developing team for this mod, it has been a blast!

I did have a half question half suggestion, why is there no core state conversion? Maybe adding cores based on the de jure borders would work.

Unsure what you mean. Owners get cores on their provinces. Dejure title holders get claims over dejure title territory. Giving dejure title holder cores over entire title (such as kingdom or empire) would make the conversions quite unbalanced.

I'm running into an issue with the EU4 side of the conversion, everything is coming along fine, however, even after activating the mod, nothing changes on the map.

Do you have the same mod both installed locally in the mod/ folder and published/subscribed through steam? That will cause the gme to bork and load nothing. Delete the local copy.

Just deleted all local copies and only used the workshop one, the map is still popping up unchanged on launch.
Silly question but did you enable that playset in the launcher main menu?
Otherwise, try exporting under a new name, and make sure new playset is it's enabled.
Issues like this one have nothing to do with the converter, it's all launcher bonanza.

Yep, I tested the mod in multiple playsets making sure they were enabled. Guess I'll just fiddle around with it some more! Lol
Regardless, thanks for the help!

Good news, I was just being stupid. Reinstalled the game onto a better drive, re-did the conversion, then made sure to properly transfer the mod to EU4.
Works now!
EU4 is old enough that it's occasionally finnicky with mods, especially if you have multiple drives going on. Glad you got it working!

For some reason the default install directory for CK3 isn’t working.

The save file is blank when I try to look at the directory through the link in the converter, and the converter gives me an error message saying that it doesn’t contain CK3.

However when I go to the save file through the exact same path through the File Explorer everything is there.

Hi. Just tried to convert my CK3 file to EU4 and ended up with a problem. Attached the Log.txt.

Anyway, I was a little confused. Do I have to actually finish the whole campaign before I can convert it? Because I was operating under the assumption that it sort of autopiloted it into Eu4 for me. I have used mods to turn my whole realm into Georgian, even though my realm is an Armenian Empire. So any help would be great. Thank you. Also here is a screenshot of my directories.

You haven't posted a screenshot, log, or anything.

CK3 Install folder is usually "c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Crusader Kings III\"

Judging from the log, half your converter installation is missing. Uninstall/delete it, and reinstall it from scratch.

Hi - im having issues with a conversion using the more bookmarks+ mod, any ideas on how this could be fixed?

Im pretty sure the converter was updated to be able to use the mod a while back but idk if that is kept up

Does the converter support the Miller Projection mod? From the Workshop page description:
"The mod does not change the location and attribution of the provinces, only mapping them so that they appear exactly as they should in the MCP. The map modification does not add new provinces, which means it is compatible with many mods.Theoretically this mod can be used with other mods that do not involve too much map modification."

Try it and see.

I'm having an issue where I'm trying to convert a save from a two player multiplayer game where one of us reformed Ukonusko and the other created a new Christian heresy. The reformed Ukonosku converts no problem, but it seems like the converter is altogether ignoring the custom Christian faith. I can't find any references in the log or in the EU4 mod files. I'd love any help, I'm so confused why it isn't working.

dynamic_faith_111 is reformed Ukonosko, dynamic_faith_110 should be my custom one according to CK3, but it's nowhere to be found.

All christan denominations which retain pope as head of faith map to catholic. To change this, edit religion_map.txt and comment out catholic line.

Why does my converted Italy, which has the italy in game eu4 tag have these random(and terrible) national ideas instead of the regular(very good) italian ideas

Can anyone please help me find a way to fix this somehow? I cant form italy because I am already the ITA tag. My ck3 culture was cisalpine and it converted to Umbrian, I found some dynamic national ideas for italy in the mod files but they are completely different than the trash ones I got which I cant seem to find anywhere.
