indeed how very unfortunate, yet also fortunate, the AI helped us push back the Sejuks. However Rus took 2 provs in Bohemia I'm hoping I can negotiate for there transfer to their rightful owner that benefits both of us.
It was more like Rus DOWing the Seljuks only after Germany, Byzantium, Poland and Hungary did a damn fine job of softening them up, shamelessly reaping the spoils other realms sacrificed their soldiers for. I support giving the provinces in question to either Germany or Poland.
Russia also had a single, solitary, isolated vassal province in Persia! That guy broke away though...I guess he figured he could go it alone once I smashed all the Turks around him.
okay umm KoM, I seriously doubt very many russian soldiers paid much to get those provs and considering how far away they are from you I think it would be in your best interests to be as friendly as reasonably possible with Germany since Germany is willing to pay an arm and a leg to ensure its territorial integrety without needless bloodshed.

Germany is not in the last 'far away' from Russia; it's just across Poland. Poland is not only a nice small bite-sized nation, it's also all plains, perfect terrain for the savage dash of the Cossacks. And it doesn't take much Russian blood to make a given area Russian land. A drop or two is enough.
Oh, by the way, could someone post the save please? I'd like to take a look at the situation. I could maybe give it a purge while I'm at it, come to think of it.

Also, the Golden Horde did come out but they were a non-event. Stop at three provinces then whithered away until Justinian felt they should die.
