re administration of an occupied China:

Even if the Japanese had planned to give all chinese territory to some newly liberated minors I would suspect that they wouldn't have transferred Port Arthur or Formosa to them. We could ofc remove this province ids from all chinese revolters but that would be lopsided in the case if they Japanese had already lost this provinces. Therefore I have given the Japanese some cores on Formosa and Port Arthur so that they can freely liberate any chinese minor or even re-establish Manchukuo. If they have a core on a province they cannot give it away. To remedy this I have added some lines to the japanese surrender event.

Atm it's too early for my next map-fix file. I'll continue working with revolt.txt and incorporate any suggestions which are made here. If you detect any oversights or typos please report them here.

After nearly one hour of wait, I saw a black screen with a message inside a white rectagle: Impossible to make the Direct3D dispositive... :(

Hm, it seems that you have a problem, but don't ask me what has happened... :(

Ok, here is my navaldist.tbl:

Hope this helps! :)

For playing (vanilla) AOD with the E3 map you can download an expanded set of game files. See here

Thanks! It works!

Great. :)

If you encounter any problems with the adapted events or revolters please report here. Your Feedback is needed, too.

I downloaded your navaldist.tbl thing, and it works now. however, I see a problem with the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact. there are no effects on Germany.
it is event 2050 if you want to do a quick test. other than that, everything is great and I appreciate your work on this.

Which option doesn't work? The historical or all?

If the SOV accepts in event 2600 the historical pact then they get their cores while GER gets in event 2013 also some cores. But Germany has already these 5 cores. If this is problem you describe it seems to be better if I remove these 5 cores from scenario file.

first of all, when I try the historical agreement, soviet union gets new cores, but Germany does not. secondly, there is no second pop up saying that the soviet union accepted and now you have new cores. thirdly, I tried to activate event 2013, nothing happened.

also, I should add I not only had this problem when I installed Burkian's fix, but this has happened on 2 different pc's.

I would like to thank you for looking into my complaint and for what you have contributed to e3 mod.

Furstbischof - would you like to create a new topic with mumia's map in the AoD section? I know he wouldn't mind, but he's really occupied right now as you all see.

It would be a pity for this mod to lose popularity just due to the person's who started this thread inactivity.

You may use my world map as well, go for it, please.

You have a valid complaint and therefore deserve a satisfying answer. ;) Germany starts according to its E3 scenario file with 6 cores on Poland. If they decide to offer the MR pact and Stalin accepts they get cores on 5 polish provinces which they already have, i.e. no event pops up. The solution is quite easy: before I have adapted the events to the E3 map there were only a handful of self-made events available. To give the players the correct historical cores to play properly they were simply given to them during setup. It was a design decision of the map makers, i.e. WAD. I have now removed these 5 cores from the scenario file; a short test gave me the expected pop-up. If we had more map-related events we could remove some of the more bountiful cores.

I just invaded Poland, and not only was their no new cores or any such stuff, but the soviets canceled the nonaggression pact, and did not occupy their part. I waited for a moth in-game and nothing happened. I signed the historical pact, and apparently the soviet union accepted because they got their new cores.

I think the event should be changed anyway. I think that germany should get cores on Suwalki, Plock, Wloclawek, Kalisz, Lomza, and Bialystock because germany incorperated these regions into the Reich in Real life, like so

These areas were reserved for the settlement of german farmers - a longterm project. If you check how few Germans already lived in 'Warthegau' you'll see that the cores which Germany already gets are generous. After the pact were many Germans who actually lived in the Baltics sent into this area. I would only make an exemption for Suwalki because the Germans changed the pact to get it although they paid a price for it. I don't know if there even was a settlement campaign in Suwalki started before Barbarossa.

If you want to have all these provinces for Germany as cores in your game you can easily modify this event yourself. ;)

I'll later upload some reworked files. Then you'll see which cores Germany should get.

I have taken your advice and opened a new thread in the AOD user mods sub-forum. But I really hope that we soon get a sign from mumia.

Your map (thanks, Crackler!) got a prominent place in the new AOD E3 map thread. ;)

Please look here. Comments and advice are always welcome.

thanks Folgore..... however can you make one that is editable with paint .net but thanks that proved useful.

But, it's editable!
