I want EUIV to post a Facebook status update whenever I conquer a new province. All my friends will be so interested!

You know what that means?

We need an Achievements DLC!

I want to earn achievement badges that I can show off to everyone I know, it makes the game much more interesting, challenging, and immersive.

If I become Holy Roman Emperor, I should have the ability to recruit special unique units with elite training and equipment. Actually, more than that, I should be able to carefully pick these soldiers from a specially selected pool of individuals who are the product of selective breeding and so on, to maximise strength, endurance, intelligence, and loyalty. And if I'm in good with the Pope, they should be equipped with holy weapons to fight my enemies (who would be, obviously, heretics and demons). I'm thinking we could call them "marines", though that seems to be lacking something, I admit. They could be organized into companies with names like "Children of the Emperor" and "Templars" and "Fists of the Empire" or something like that. And they could get bonuses to go on crusade. Oh, and unlimited morale, because duh, they're super soldiers fighting for the Emperor.

In the grim dark past of Europe, there is only war.

This game could really use unit quotes. I think it would be much more immersive if your units gave an acknowledgement every time you move or select them. Imagine how awesome would it be if your armies shouted something like "For France!" when you moved them into enemy territory! This should be pretty easy as there is no need to have a wide variety, just a few good ones that players won't mind hearing over and over through the centuries.

What EUIV needs is a new and improved comet event. Now everytime it happens a video of a comment flying toward Earth plays and there is a short window of time during which you need to press a button. If you fail to press the button th Comet hits one of your provinces and permamently removes it from the game. We could call it hastilly-timed happening.

I used to be soldier like you...

As a king, I want to be able to move around in my palace in first, no, make that third-person view, and to have the ability to feel up female courtiers. It's good to be the king, and the game should adequately model that. Everyone knows that sex and violence is what sells, but up until now, the EU series has only had the violence and completely neglected the sex.

I'm with you on this! Why only limit this feature to your palace? Why not make it so that you can roam 17th century Europe freely and do all sorts of quests to keep the people happy and rescue busty babes trapped in dungeons by the evil Austrians. Yeah and we want the beheading perk too but that would come after you've upgraded your rapier at the castle smith. That'd be way cool. Can't wait for all those big-boob mods to come out!

But that would mean we couldn't force achievements onto the anti-achievement camp.

We'll simply award people "Un-achievements" for every time they accomplish something without buying the DLC.

It's brilliant!

And considering that there are only 20-30 provinces in the entire game, people can't complain about too many updates!

I am also tired of the whole casus belli system and consequence of war. Just simplify it to 'declare war' and be done with it. And rather than those silly peace treaties, just have you conquer what you conquer. You got that province? It's yours! And remove attribution factors, it makes the game too hard to comprehend. This will decrease the learning curve on the game, by not having concepts like supply and war weariness and whatever. Oh, and make happiness an empire-wide number.

I'm also tired of the AI trying to be my friend. This game is supposed to be about war! Blowing stuff up! Pillaging women and raping towns!

So to make this game better, I propose that the AI randomly break alliances and truces with you all the time. In fact, any nation that isn't breaking an alliance with you, should be declaring war on you, even if you just beat them in a war and they have no hope of victory.

I understand PI doesn't have a huge budget like the real top tier game developers, but I hope they spend enough money to realize that this will make the game totally stupid epic.

Yeah, I agree. What this franchise REALLY needs is quick-time events!

Yeah, they defiantly need to merge EU4 with this.
I defiantly disagree with you.

Ah yes, a perfect area for expansion; in EUIII, they only did this if they weren't allied/truced with you.
