All the soundtrack should be in dubstep.

But joking aside I will forever fail to understand why some people think that turn based is inferior/dumber than Real Time.

I just pulled this through Soundbooth and fiddled a bit with the soundwaves. Don't. Seriously don't.

Actually so far I've laughed a couple of times and this seems to have been a very good thread for some frustrated gamers to vent in a sarcastic manner.
So kuddos Fishman.

I have another idea:
Each nation should have specific permanent bonuses, separate from perks. For example, Russia can have "Red Revolution" as a special ability, which gives them a -100% rebel chance. Germany (which will replace the HRE) can have "Blitzkrieg" giving them special Panzer units at land tech 30. The USA, which exists at game start, will have "Manifest Destiny", giving them auto-cores on conquered provinces.

We need some entire regions like 'Switzerland' and 'Ireland' (Who would play as them?) to be represented by the banner 'Rebels' to give the player small incremental gains and pull him into the challenge of the game. This way we don't have to bother making the effort and can throw out a game every year or so.

We also need an experience point system and customization so a player can really put his own 'scene' onto medieval France.

Spy missions need to be represented by small videos, in order to provide immersion, likewise other major events like coronations, marriages and papal elections.

Also, in order to conduct Diplomacy you have to move Diplomat "Agents" all around the map to visit different courts.

I'm waiting for a ground modification decision for a more realistic experience.
As everyone should know, Europe was not like it is now. From the begging of the game until the end the ground of the continent changed.
I mean for exemple in Holland or in Bordeaux, there were many little islands everywhere and the people of those place worked on it by adding many trees in order to get rid of the swamp. As we can see in the trailer there's ice on the map in winter and we may go on it and pass while it's there, Also, dev should use this to make an ingame decision to develop the province, that should cost money but add extra space as it is in Victoria 2.

I also hope a better AI that could really act as the kings were. Like big battle with huge armies in 18th century..

We also can always make those boring Swiss and the Irish nomads.

I think they shouldn't work on EU4 before EU3 is properly finished. I mean, how can they stop working on a game with such hideous graphics? I'm disappointed that 4 expansion packs have been released, and the graphics are still very bad. Compare Modern Warfare 3: no expansion packs, but the graphics are great. Why can't Paradox make games like this? I'd be totally fine if EU4 was just EU3 with proper graphics.
