Well, it is 1660 and when I hover over the symbol in the HRE window it says "the Empire has no official religion" or something like this...
Weirdest thing happened. Brandenburg annexed Prussia, only to form Prussia few moments after.
Why this bugged me is because of my spy network. I had 60+ in both Brandenburg and Prussia. Since Prussia was annexed, I lost that one, and when Brandenburg changed tag, I lost that one as well.
Should I report this? It doesn't seem to be easily fixable, though.

In the HRE screen, you can also hover over a prince’s coat of arms (at the bottom) to see why they do or do not support the current reform.
Weird. Can you post a screenshot? Did the leagues fire but no war started? Did the leagues NOT fire?
It also adds half the development of subject nations - if the other nations have powerful vasalls or colonial nations, they'll be the top dogs.

Normally if a non elector of the HRE forms a Nation it leaves the empire. However recently I played the TO, joined the HRE and formed Prussia. This time I did not leave the empire eventhough it sais so in the dession discription. Is this a (new) game feature? Does this mean that if forming Germany I will again stay inside the HRE (again, eventhough it sais all provinces are removed)?
If pressing a dessision which formes a empire rank Nationtag and not leaving the HRE do I actually aquire the empire rank eventhough empire members are capped at duke tier?

Is it worth a no-CB war to vassalize the rump of Poland for all that reconquest?
Can't you get them in a proxy war through allies? You might be able to avoid the stab hit that way.

seems that would be very situational, depending on your goals for the game; also whether you have Diplomatic Ideas

I'm Muscovy (now Russia) and would like to see what Norway has discovered (if anything).
So, now Iceland is an independent country. And Norway will probably be worthless or very slow to colonize.

Their rebellion in Iceland is close to enforcing demands.
I build cogs; give Cossacks land; recruit a conquistador from them; and send a force to relieve sieges in Iceland. Land in first province, beat the rebel army and retake the province. But demands are enforced before my army finishes moving to next province.
[In hindsight, might have been faster to go by sea to second province?]

I'd send the Conquistador into uncolonized Siberia so you can get a sneak preview of what's going on north of Ming when you arrive, and to choose priorities of what to attack.
For Iceland, Norway should still have cores on them, so you should be able to declare a reconquest war.

I played a little bit today an suddenly a message came. It said, protestant could not challenge the emperor, so catholic is now official religion.
Well, I had to wait till 1670 but I think it is OK now.

I learned I can steal maps for 50 spynetwork points. Need unit next to unknown area. Guess I just need to steal a LOT of maps from Spain.

Newly colonized provinces start with the overlord's religion regardless of what was there before is my understanding. Does that mean they will also start with Religious Zeal for 10 years?
