Greetings. At the current moment this is doubtlessly my favourite mod for DH which I’m playing since 2022. I was actually very excited when I noticed that developer released the last update and I’d like to express my thoughts about possible staff in further updates.

Firstly, an idea of separated Russia after Soviets been vanquished by Axis for me is always an opportunity to rebuild motherland by warlords with ideologies which differ from communism. Thus, my first proposal is to develop the destiny of Imperial Russia if they manage to crush soviets in civil war (for example by fine control in series of events).

Secondly, an addition which is not difficult to implement but will enhance gameplay experience a bit in my opinion is adding more images for cities in game. I am currently playing as United States and noticed that few cities have pictures of them.

Finally, I’d like to notice that when I played Republic of China recently (the same last version of the game “anniversary”) when I entered alliance with Germany by event, after the end of the civil war in Germany right up to WW3 they didn’t invite me once more and there were no events on that so I had to declare war on USSR manually.

Thank you for you great work and more important – constant work on the mod.

P.S. I also wanted to ask if it is preferable to play with “everyone can start war – off” or it won’t harm game play if I switch it on.

Very interesting mod and looking forward for the future i do have some feedback too, Peace deals are either dumb or just broken, what i mean about being dumb is that atm the mod doesnt actually care what has happened in the world and just forces certain kinda peace deals on nations like Spain not being part of axis but if axis powers lose they Spain gets annexed by USA for no reason. Also the peace event "Peace for europe" which is suppose to free europian nations just crashes the game half of the time, i have one safe i literally cant play anymore bc it crashes every single time that event fires, it could be made to be stages not just one huge free everybody at once bc the engine just cant handle that. One other weird quirk i found is that when the French state that is on the contitent is on war against germany they can still get the event to pay for war reparionts from 1940 which they cant refuse.

I think I can help you with the crash as I had the same issue when my game had crashed every time I ended up with this event upon I realised that I intentionally released some of the nations before the event and after the end of the war. It turned out that it was a troublemaker and you should not do that and then the event smoothly goes along.

P.S. I think the thing with Spain was made on purpose but if the idea was about wiping out all fascist nations simultaneously with Germany then I can’t explain existing national socialistic Argentina by the end of the war.

thanks for the tip bc i did that exact thing i released some nations beforet that event, i still think even if spain is facist but stays neutral usa just annexing them bc of event seems unreasonable and unrealistic.

Hello, i just wanted to let a post to say that i love the mod you've created, especially what you did with Russia (siberia in particular). I just wanted to ask if you were thinking to rework Vichy France and Free France in the future , i think that they have both a really interesting starting position (also i'm french so i'm a little biased).

I'm trying the mod out, and so far I like the vibe.
However; I'm not sure I get what's going on with its mechanics and premise, and what I'm supposed to be doing. I haven't read the book, just seen the movie starring Rutger Hauer.

As Germany
What's going on with the off map -200 IC and manpower drain? Is this a peace penalty?
So far I did an IC build. Once that finishes, I'll save money to do these events. As far as I can tell this is about integrating the east with events, and navigating postwar events without having and losing WW3.

It's the costs of eastern colonization and European occupations in general, chaotic and messy as they are. Once Hitler dies, there will be an opportunity to revise those plans and lose the malus.

Thinking is rarely the problem, it's turning thoughts into working code that's the issue. In general, there were some thoughts about updating Free/Vichy France content, but nothing tangible came out of it so far. The same can be said about thoughts on updating American and UN content.
For now a minor Cossacks-focused update is being tested. Another minor update for the USSR is in the coding phase.
After that? I dunno, we'll see how it goes.

I tried for the first time my hand in modding by adding a little bit of flavors to Vichy France, honestly only that took a good 30-40 hours of my time, you are real beasts to be able to create a great mod like this, that must have taken thousands of hours of your time.

For the majority of events i took a lot of inspiration of those for the soviet union. I'll attach all the modification i've made if it can help. If you have any question it'll be a pleasure to answer them!

Hello! I know that the pivotal event of the Italian path is the Grand Council of Fascism, which can overthrow the monarchy, the Duce, or continue with coexistence.

Should one decide to continue with coexistence, are there other opportunities to overthrow the regime through the event? Is Mussolini's death from natural causes foreseen?

No, there is not any chance to overthrown monarchy if you go with coexistence. Could be useful add an event, I'll think about it.
Yes, the natural cause event occur in the 1960 if I'm not wrong.

Anyway, big news : we're at the last playtest with @Redding and I think we could be release a new version in the next weeks.
Will be a great update especially in the East.

When playing as Saudi Arabia, the game crashes in September 1948 (around 17-18th). It doesn't happen when I load the save and select a different country. I've tried a number of things, such as changing/muting the music, not making any decisions, etc., but it doesn't work

By the way, thanks for the update. I really enjoy the mod after all these years
