Hi everyone! I'm a russian player and therefore I do not know English very much. I came across with a bug when China or North Korea kicks out USSR from Comintern. As I understood, that this happenes when China occupies Korea and after some time just kicking USSR from their own aliance and mandatory takes USSR in their own (without even asking a player).

Greetings again, I’ve played lots of games yet but now I face a sudden question I never had. What’s the precise trigger to the event that allows using nukes? I now play 1969 Germany and just waiting for that to clean my way up to intrude Britain. Previously it just happened without a concern though. I should mention that I skipped “point of no return” event and proceeded to play without ww3 start.

I´ve been "staying tuned" for the new version for two months now because I really like this mod and appreciate your work.

May I recommend not to announce a new version "in the next weeks" if it may take longer to finalize?

For me, this creates frustration...especially, if the upcoming additions look so marvelous regarding the provisional changelog.

Remember, modders do their modding in their free time (unless somebody has found a way to make a living modding - and I understand they don't share their recipe!) so we should just be satisfied that ppl want to keep modding this game. Patience is a virtue.

Just let modders do their thing. If anything, a early heads up on a coming update gives you the change to hand in bug reports so they can be included in the next version

Thank you for the lectures I didn´t ask for.

I´ve been following the darkest hour forum for years now and - as far as I remember - wrote a reply containing criticism only once. This is miles away from rushing modders.

In this case, I just gave a subjective feedback and recommendation to the authors of this mod, sugarcoated with a lot of appreciation for the authors of this mod.

This - as far as I understand it - is the genuine meaning of a "forum". Otherwise, if the modders just should "do their thing" uncommented and the followers just should contemplate in the virtue of patience,, there is no need for a forum - an upload-page would do.

My recommendation is initialized with "May I recommend...", which means, the authors can reply; "No - you may not!" - what I would fully accept and respect.

So, please - stop lecturing me for my post - so that I needn´t lecture you for yours. ^^

Just ignore that kid because he is seeking attention. He will get bored and will go away. Thankfully, kids like him are very rare on such forgotten subforums like DH subforum.

Regarding the mod itself, I'm not sure if someone already noticed this, but Fatherland mod folder contains big github folder than can be easily deleted to save hundreds of MBs on your HDD/SSD and decrease download size.

I also hope that pakotorino (Fatherland dev) is ok, since he was last seen on the forums 2 months ago.

Excellent idea... also for offering the compressed mod.
A fast test deleting the github-directory which isn't necessary for playing and compressing the remaining files with 7-zip the total compressed size can be downed from 2.59 GB to 802 MB, that's remarkable:
Various DH mods and scenarios, see Fatherland-10th Anniversary Edition_without-github-directory.7z

Thank you for all your helpful, absolutely not arrogant replies to me dumb kid.
After doing my "every-two-years-attention-seeking" (last time I posted in DH-forums was in 2022), I will now leave this forum to all those much wiser adults again. ^^

Can we just stick to the mod and bug reports? I don't mind having my hopes up that the next release and its something constructive ... not petty squabbling ^^

Yeah, 7zip especially with LZMA2 compression method, Ultra compression level, Solid block size and maximum (depending on your available RAM) dictionary and word size can compress mods for Paradox games into very tiny archives. You can probably go below these 802 MB if you have like 64GB RAM or more.

Btw. thanks for that link, I didn't know that someone is collecting all these forgotten mods in one place, nice. I have some on my HDD and Google Drive but not all.
