So a bunch of Paradox game content creators have just made posts from Barcelona, Spain in the last day or so, obviously invited there by Paradox Tinto. These are just some of them:

Where are all the people who were saying Project Caesar would be a late 2026 or even 2027+ release again?

They probably won't stay there for more than a week, so next week is the week.
Though an actual release date us still up in the air, PDX does usually takes a year between announcement and launch, but EU5 has been releasing diaries for over a year already, it's a very unique situation, I don't think we can compare this to previous examples.

I think they are aiming for late 2025 release. Whether they succeed or not is another matter. I wouldn't take it as a hard rule, that previous Paradox games have released a year after the announcement. EUV has, for all intents and purposes, been announced for a long time. The official announcement will kickstart the marketing campaign, which likely will not last a whole year.

We simply don't know right now.
It's not like they need to formally announce the game before youtubers can make content about it. We already have so much info anyway and the only thing an announcement will change is getting a tentative release date and being able to see the 3D map for the first time.

OP is poking at people who said it will release late next year or even 2027.

Now we might know why Ludi said he has lots of EU5 stuff to show us when he gets back from this trip, but then deleted the video for "reasons".

Guys, its happening. Cmon get hyped

I would think they would want to have most of the map feedbacks done so they can present a mostly finished map in the announcement trailer. Ofcourse, they could also announce without showing the map.
