I'd say the diplomats to the Horde and the baby Khan are pretty stupid....when a THREE year old is convinced that his nation will 'cwush you all' with such passion and conviction....well I'd start thinking things were a bit....disturbing. So Sweden is now Muslim, eh? Here's a question...what is the Horde's land tech right now? I'd think you'd be pretty far behind the western nations. If Sweden's land tech is 55, I can't see the Horde's being near to that. You must have been using overwhelming numbers, eh?
Judging from the looks of Hordish uniforms, he must have at least surpassed the level 51. Thus making it possible to cwush Sweden with ease, especially when taking into account the sheer numbers of the Horde's peoples :).

BOOO! I hate domination. Must hack the save and free all the provinces and leave the Golden Horde vs. all of the world, of course with its current armies still.

OOOOOH! FUN GAME IDEA! Conquer the entire world, then get all your soldiers in one province and then DOW EVERYONE!

coz1 - They should be running away. It would be smart. Thanks for the vote in the ACA.

demokratickid - Have no doubt in the Horde. Thanks for the vote in the ACA by the way :).

Oblivious - I think you know the answer to that already.

Chief Ragusa - Not much of a challenge really. It looks like they're attacking Kexholm but its just the way it's displayed.

Falastur - It seems those dastardly Swedes will try anything.

germanpeon - It's a very big test for one so young.

Amric - My land tech is at 52. Given the late stage of the game and the fact money is no concern I've been focussing on it solely. Nonetheless overwhelming numbers were used anyway.

Emperor_krk - Quite right.

billy bob - You hate domination? Surely it's ok for the Horde to do so? Thanks for the votes in the ACA.

Ulugh V : Part 2
And so Ulugh, at the tender age of four years, found himself the youngest person ever to be at war with two thirds of Europe. It was quite an honour. But frankly, the khan didn't really care. It wasn't that he didn't care about war (that would be a matter of great concern) but just the fact that this war wasn't really all that fun. It was a scale far beyond the little Khan's brain capacity.

War at a scale that Ulugh could manage and found fun

The Horde had been taken by surprise by the declaration. However orders were sent out swiftly and given the large reserves of disposable income and men the war was soon underway.

Standing armies get ready to march on Austria whilst new reserves are recruited.

Austria clearly had not thought through the war entirely (This came as a surprise to few). Their troops were in disarray and failed even to march in the right direction as the majority headed the opposite direction to either Poland or the Horde. Directed by the Horde Council, the armies of the Golden Horde were quite the opposite of the Austrians, chiefly due to the facts that they not only won their battles but also marched towards the enemy.

After eight months the war is going extremely well. Stripes indicate lands controlled by the Holy Golden Alliance and arrows are the routes of it's armies.

Only in Ennedica was some sizable resistance met, from none other than the Quebecois.

The strongest resistance of the war so far

847-memorial.png

Resistance is light enough that even the 15th century re-enactment division is put into service

Following the capture of the Austrian capital and the Empire's religious leaders plans were begun by the Horde Council for Austria to be treated as Sweden had been with vassalisation and conversion. Unfortunately a large Spanish force arrived before they could be put into action and removed Horde presence from the province. Austria would have to pay in other ways.

Spanish arrive and disrupt plans for conversion.

It's always humorous to see war like that, when soe one declares nd then screws up so badly. It'll be interesting to see what the Spanish can do...

Well, I think we all knew how that would go. Painful and bloody for the enemy. Now punish those Spaniards for upsetting your plans.

The move westward is the traditional move of the Austrians, towards France. Trust the Spaniards to gatecrash a party. Will they, I wonder, give the re-enactment division a fair fight?

The Horder armies in North America are a bit small and the Quebecois a bit large.

Quality is good: overwhelming force is better and more in keeping with the Horde way of war.

Wari Bana - Haha, a good point I think. But they should know not to use that on the Horde.

demokratickid - They can't do a lot but it's enough to frustrate my plans.

coz1 - All in good time. Spain will suffer the consequences in the end.

Chief Ragusa - A traditional move yes. But why start it by declaring war on the Holy Golden Alliance?

Lord Skane - I'm glad you appreciate it ;)

Ulugh V : Part 3
The Spanish forces were something of a spanner in the works for the Horde Councils plan. With the liberation of Vienna and with it the major religious leader and sites of the Austrian Empire forced conversion and vassalisation no longer seemed options. There remained only one course of action left. To take land.

843-gains.png

As a fallback option seizing land still offers significant rewards.

All in all it seemed a success to most in the Horde. Crowds cheered on the armies as they triumphantly returned home with the spoils of war. Of note is the fact that sausages (taken from German provinces) were introduced the the Horde population for the first time. They proved such a hit that soon Berker Khan had incorporated them into it's menu as a tasty breakfast item.

But for the Horde Council it was not such a happy time. They were disappointed in the gains. There had to be a reason why they had been denied what they deserved. They soon found one in the Khan. Clearly this was just another sign of the young Ulugh's inability to rule.

Does this mean that he will be dyning of NATURAL CAUSES soon??? :)
....

What?

Preposterous.

The Council misunderstands the shrewdness of toddler's tactics:

Cwush!
Wait for Castille. Gain some. Wait for the ceasfire to end.
Cwush!
Wait for Castille. Gain some. Wait for the ceasfire to end.

Funny games can be repeated endlessly this way. I plead for rejuvenation of the Council, as they fail to see this is merely a game for Ulugh..

The Council can play the other game of eastern expansion. There must be somebody left to annex in the East.India is very rich. Ulugh's one ord vocabulary seems most appropriate for a Horde Khan. It's all you really need. Point at the map and say "Cwush!".

I want that breakfeast!

And please do my plan. Export to Vicky and then split up the horde in a giant revolt! :D

At least there are new breakfast items on the menu. The Khan is a growing boy. He has a healthy appetite. ;)

Duke of Wellington: ...There remained only one course of action left. To take land.

that is always a good decision ! ! :D

most excellent updates ! !
