what? no...Ottoman -as you see at the links i posted- never had an unique flag..they used lots of flags similar each other..they were mostly formed with several crescents and stars.some of them were green some of them were red..ok recent Turkish flag looks like Ottoman flags but the same

Then we'll use the current flag in representation of these flags, found on one of the links that you kindly provided:

This photograph also shows the crew of the German battlecruiser Goeben in Constantinople, under the Turkish flag:

Thus, the flag stays as it is. :)

Good work Drew, but sky blue is really a bit too "Barney and Friends" like (even though that's purple).

...seems like my secret plot has been uncovered... ;)

It looks purple to me anyway

May I suggest red and orange - fire and destruction and hell etc........

The watercolours are back out and I'm coming up with an alternative :)

Hmm...that's a tough choice, personally I like the blue, but the orange has a more WWI feel to it.

The Ever Open Eye

(of Sauron that is)

Just another trivial historical note... the renowned author of Lord of the Rings, JRR Tolkien was a 2nd Lt in the East Lancashire Regt and fought on the Somme... some battles and horrors he described were condensed from his experiences during the war.

Just a bit of info...

I can't find anything about that model... :( Can anyone provide information and possibly some clickies? OTOH, if the damn thing is this obscure, maybe the plane was not produced extensively...
