I've used the tsarist flag, and as Allenby says, I think we should use the state flag/national flag for each country, even if any other flag is more familiar to most people.

Any more icons that need changing? Any of those unsatisfactory? If everyone agrees, I'll finish it up (do the silver ones) and either post them or send them in.

(BTW, I tried them in the game and they're working perfectly, in case you're worried... :))

I think that they look fine, and that you can make them silver also. (As opposed to making a game "going gold", you're making your stuff "going silver". :D ;) )

Has anyone noticed how the screen on the main menu seems to make a quick lurch forward, with a white line appearing on the right hand side? I think that ought to be rectified...

Does this only effect my version? It does look incredibly poor.

The difference between the screen loading up and the menu screen are hardly noticeable - or they wouldn't be in screenshots. It's something that has to be watched, and it looks a little unprofessional.

@Allenby:

Concerning Generals photos:
They're scanned - so which format do you prefer? *bmp or *jpg
And which archiver do you have? ZIP or RAR? And which versions (for compatibility of archive?)

In *.bmp - there will be 43 files 14 Mb total:eek:o

Ultimately, they'll have to be in .bmp format...

I have both ZIP (8.1) and RAR (3.2)

Do what ever you think is best to compress those files as much as possible. :)

Okay, i will use WinAce 2.5 it compresse the graphic far better, but you will be able to open it with RAR.

I will cut the letters with attachments into several parts.

Hmmm, Allenby, are you sure your mailbox doesn't have any limitations on the size of letter received?

I got three back letters from your mailbox with this:

Delivery Status Notification (Failure)

3 letters were more than 1 Mb. One approx - 770Kb - so the fourth didn't report not delivered... So i assume hotmail has some limitations?

I've deleted everything from my inbox now, so if you send it again it might just work. Alternatively, if you send it to d.swinerd[a]lse.ac.uk - my university address - it may work. That address, however, is for very important people.... :)

Good, i'll resend them in 1 hour.

Cheers,

EDIT: All right, sent them to your university address, hotmail keeps ignoring me, doesn't like me:mad: :p

MRAKoris: Send them to me, I'll host them for Allenby. I don't have a limit on my inbox.
