Strange, that. Fortress infantry is, IIRC, built on mechanised infantry, not militia... Have you tried cycling the unit in the province?

Anyway. The techtypes bars are STILL wrong in 1.02b.

I was fiddling around with the graphics files, and made a nee counter. What would you guys say to TGW having it's own counters? (Ignore other graphics changes, if you will, like I said, I'm fiddling with the files :))

The new counters look terrific, although the British one ought to display the Union Flag.

I like the new graphics interface - it looks like playing the game on a large oak table ;)
 
Although a little more browny rather than greeny would be better.

Actually can we make several different interfaces.

One for Entente Powers (Blue and Red)
One for Central Powers (Black and White)
And of course Red!!! for the Comintern (Rev Mex.....ha)

Then, we can tell players what files they are in the readme, and can change them accordingly before they start up a game.

That way we'll have different interfaces for different alliances.
Default will be the standard HOI - we'll keep these in a separate directory in GFX and explain how to do it.

Sound good?
 
I was thinking of roling back the green on that anyway. It was there to combine with the "gilded" look, but as I don't seem to find all the files to be changed to have a fully "gilded" look, and especially I can't find out how you change the letter colouring, I was rolling the "gold" parts back to "silver". What should the main panel look like?

As for the Union Flag, I'm working on it. As it happens to be a little hard to fit in a 6x5 image (It's 18x10, but I had it broken in 30 3x2 blocks), and I saw the american flag, and others, would look awful, I changed it to the full 18x10 pixel mode. I'm going to give that a try now.

On reflection, the main panel on the right does look a bit like a damp cricket pitch. I'd favour having the same texture as the bar at the top - that woody look. :)
 
What about this Union Flag? And I managed to get a decent POR flag this time (the previous version was just vertical stripes).

Tech research. It's still how I had it previously, including the green with "fine leather" effect (damp cricket pitch indeed. hmph. :mad: ;)). I don't know if I should change it.

So, opinions?

Bloody hell, the damn url thing is case sensitive. They should now be visible.

That is utterly outstanding! It looks very professional, and for some reason which I can't think of, a lot more Great Warish. :)

Patch was wondering whether you could come up with some Entente, CP and Comintern themed ones to go alongside those, if it isn't too much of a problem? :) Is that easy, a nuisance or a challenge?
