That's right. Moreover the following teams are available until 1960 (is that the real date for the retirement?)
  1. Etienne Primault
  2. Fritz Rihner
  3. Henri Guisan

I can't find the first two. Only web pages are in Swiss. Will keep looking. Third guy:
Henri Guisan
He dies on 7 April 1960. An event for this?
Will post more Swiss Teams as i find them.

Wiki is always a goog source. Check out these links:

I’ll try to do it to morrow if nobody else is up to the task. Got three exams in political science next week so my time is kind a limited :D.
That is more important. Nowaday I still have exams, but instead of studying for them I had to mark/correct them afterward :)

That shipyard is this one, not exactly the biggest and most relevant one for a WWII tech-team.

What do you think of one of these two instead?

Baltic Shipyard
Black sea shipyard

Heckler & Koch
mechanics,general equipment and electronics
level 6
Start year 1949 - 1970

Very nice HK picture. Murmansk did have great impact on the convoy and therefore for me interesting for a tect team it will not be the most hi tec team. I will not make the decision for this anyway maybe the Baltic Shipyard would be an idea.

Cerklje ob Krki Airbase Tec team for Slovenia

This is just a suggestion!

level 1 or 2, Aeronautics, aircraft testing and chemistry.

This one slightly better..but maybe to modern.

CHC techteams, here we go. NatChi has already been done sometime back. If someone could, please help edit the pictures...I fail with photo editing software.

Fleming was a nobel laureate and potentially he deserves much more than 5. The point is that medicine is not a speciality in the game. I had a discussion about that with kunadam because he modelled Pedro Kouri in a way I thought was "weird":
http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showpost.php?p=10338182&postcount=386
http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showpost.php?p=10439750&postcount=580
http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showpost.php?p=10442204&postcount=592

We had a discussion in this thread and at the end Kouri was modelled as Kunadam wanted with the following specialities:
chemistry
centralized_execution
small_unit_tactics
large_unit_tactics
training

All above to say that in the absence of a speciality in the game called medicine in order to research it you need to assign to physicians specialities that have nothing to do with their real knowledge. On the other hand as centralized_execution for instance can be used to research land doctrines the skill should be kept as low as possible. For this reason I would suggest to assign to him skill 2 or 3 max.

On your point about Fleming: agreed. However, despite his obvious medical affinity, I would feel weird giving him centralized_execution, large_unit_tactics, etc, even at skill level 1-2. I suggest scrapping him, and replacing him with a dedicated 'Chemical Company' team (which would stop weirdness of him being used to research Synthetic Oil/Rubber Techs).

A revised set of Scottish Tech Teams is attached on this basis. I have also replaced Sholto-Douglas with Arthur Tedder. For some reason I thought Douglas was Scottish, when that is not the case.

Thanks to your contribution. There are some issues to mention though

Dalian Naval Academy

Military academies is no good as research teams. They educate based on what's researhed, they do not researh.

Anshan Iron & Steel

Isn't this one already added for ROC? Both Chinese states can't have this team, because they can exist simultaneously

Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The same issue for this one. The science academy of ROC is another one and has another name.

And...your pictures is way to modern

Please take the time to find proper pictures, it doesn't take that much time anyways. Since we can't add a unlimted number of of tech-teams to each country, find those that are the most relevant ones.

Check out these links if you want to add more teams for PRC:

Xena, Tigey could you please think to some TTs for Wales?

Tigey as you can see Xena has proposed some TTs for Ireland. What do you think about? Can you suggest some more?

Sorry for the delay in responding. Here are a few suggested teams for Wales. I must admit had to scrape the barrel a bit (there just aren't really any aircraft/vehicle manufacturers based in Wales). On the plus side though, my girlfriend (who is Welsh) was quite pleased by the fact I was creating these, especially one based in her hometown:D

They have all been tested and work fine. They can be downloaded here:

As for suggestions for Irish Tech Teams, I think what Xena has already suggested will do just fine:).

Easy1 - I bow to your superior ability to find pictures. I seriously tried, but I completely forgot about the Catagory: section for Wiki...-_-'''

And yes, you're right, Cheng Kaijia is probably more relevant.

However, about Dalian Naval Academy - I fail to see the difference between this and a university. Just because professors teach what is known does not mean they do not formulate new ideas. Why should the military be limited in this?

Anshan - perhaps, I'm not too certain. However, if it is, we should consider adding Management to China North Industries and lowering its skill to 3, as such:

Code:
8304;China North Industries Group;T8304;3;1939;1970;industrial_engineering;technical_efficiency;chemistry;management;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;x

The Academia Sinica of ComChi, however, was a different organization from NatChi's.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_Academy_of_Sciences details this quite well.

Anyways...thanks for picture editing help! Some of the CHC people are ridiculously hard to find...googling 'Liu Yalou' gets you this thread on the third page. Says a lot about how well-known he is. If you could find pictures and put up ideas for other CHC teams, it'd be great. Thanks ^_^

If you use these pics, be carefull because I think he converted them using my explanations and there was a mistake in them. So check carefully if they appear correctly ingame. If they don't, I could convert them to the proper format.

Actually, I just checked the images' properties and I'm pretty sure they won't display properly.

mistake? Next time tell me. Go convert them for me? Please? Or give me the explanations? (I didn't see if anyone did them already, is so, thanks:) )

  1. Etienne Primault

  3. Henri Guisan

The first one, where did you find him??? I can't find him anywhere!! Except in http://nuclearweaponarchive.org/Library/Swissdoc.html and some small sentences, and a a book or two on Aviation Tactics. Thats it. Nothing about when or anything close to his death/retirement.
The second one. http://www.munzinger.de/search/portrait/Fritz+Rihner/0/5394.html says he died in 1972. Can't read anything else, as its in Swiss.
Third one i already told you.

SCH:
University of Geneva
1930-Forever(When does the game end????????? Someone tell me)
Specialties: Electronics, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, General Equipment
Skill: 5 (Given the University's broad teaching, it should be given skill 5 to in my opinion, balance the nation.)

1930-Forever
Specialties: Electronics, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, General Equipment

USA: (While looking up Swiss scientists i found this person)(Of course you already have an nuclear scientist for USA but decided to show you)
Felix Bloch
1934-1983
Specialties: Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear physics, Mathematics
Skill: 9

SCH:

Skill: 6

Right now, I'm going to attempt to code the Chinese Tech Teams i did.

One University is enough per country. That is the usual rule.
End date should be 1990, at least we use that everywhere.

True

End date should be 1990, at least we use that everywhere.

End date, as far as I know, is 1970.

PS

I'm going to implement/upload all suggestions has been given so far. I will notify when I will finish. Afterwards please have a look at the usual page that updates on the status, download the pack and let me know whether I missed and/or I have to amend anything.
