With the release of 1.08 we have, in all likelihood, reached the end of the official patches for EU2. While this has not been confirmed by Johan publically, that's my judgement of the situation.

I'd like to get the stickied Known Bugs and Fixes post updated and corrected once and for all. I know I've let it go for a long time so there are numerous problems with it. There are fixed bugs still listed as unfixed, bugs listed as fixed but still in the unfixed section, and known bugs unlisted.

My idea is to rope you good folks in to help me clean up my mess. Please reply to this thread, one bug per post only, as follows:

- start each post with a paste of the entry as is, particularly including the bug #, as there are a number of duplicate or similar-sounding problems

- for fixed bugs listed as unfixed, please confirm yourself they have been fixed, and if possible in which patch (which should basically only mean either 1.07 or 1.08), and I'll move them to the fixed section

- for unlisted known bugs, please confirm yourself they are still occurring

- for bugs listed as fixed in the unfixed section, please confirm yourself they are fixed and I'll move them as is

- on all the above, if there is extra info that can be added to the bug description to help players find them let me know and I'll add it

Please confine all posts in this thread purely to the above categories, any discussion must go into other threads.

Thank you in advance to The EU2 Faithful (TE2F)!

The explorers cruises along discovering, but the conquistadores just sits quietly doing nothing. Then if I reload the game, they wake up and discover one province, and then goes back to sleep... And if I reload again... Well then they discover a province again before going back to sleep...

Sometimes if you click on a CoT, a merchant is sent to your "home" CoT, instead of the CoT screen being displayed. See #3.
Reported In: 1.04 | Correction planned In : | Corrected In :
The Cot Screen sometimes jumps; this is prolly the issue

When a country declares independence, all countries that lost province to the revolter should either be DoW'ed by the revolter, or at least get a CB.

It is possible to cancel ennemy troops production when the icon appear across more than one territory. For example, start a GC with England and when France starts building troops in Picardie, if you right-click on the part of the animation that is in Calais, you have the option to cancel the production of troops (and it works).

July 1, 1506... Prussia revolted from Poland, one province (Kustrin) which is still controlled by rebels. August 1, 1506. Instead of Prussia's government falling, Brandenburg appeared as a revolter - in Kustrin, which of course annihilated Prussia.

Still happens

Using the Richelieu cheat to move enemy's troops around, it will sometime result in CTD. So far I could reproduce the bug only once, playing France in the GC and moving English, Scottish and other neigbouring troops. It crashed once an enemy army began to siege.

If you militarily annex a country and it reappears within 5 years from another country, you will still be at peace with this country until the end of the 5 year period. This applies to everything - peace treaties, TAs, RMs, etc, but not alliances
