Culturally different province icons works now with all HIP variations, also with VIET Immersion, and it doesn't require SWMH.
From a cursory glance, it overriding the culture file would break VIET Immersion. A simple example is the lack of a Chagatai culture.

And it does require SWMH. One example of that is that the Italian culture will lack a bunch of names it should have in vanilla, but doesn't have in SWMH since SWMH uses Italian as Lombard instead.
Not to mention the various cultures not used in vanilla contained in the file. Not entirely sure whether those could cause issues or not.

Patron Deities has a compatibility patch for HIP (only needed for Project Balance) for the latest version, and if the next doesn't change 'decisions/conversion_decisions.txt', then that too.
Added to the list.
Listed as incompatible with VIET Immersion right now, as Immersion does use conversion_decisions.txt.

That file will probably change next version though, just so you're aware.

Whoever has taken over maintenance should ask a moderator (E.G., Veld) to transfer ownership of the thread itself.
Trying to keep the link updated is a rather tedious exercise when it can simply be solved with a transfer of ownership (like happened with for example Lux Invicta).
 
Was just thinking perhaps it would be a good idea to pos all the current versions of the mods in HIP i.e. telling us what version of VIET or NBRT+ or SWMH. I think this would be useful and very helpful! Of course this is up to the team entirely.
I don't understand quite what you mean.
 
Without meaning to speak for another, I think he may be seeking which versions of each mod or mod element (VIET Immersion, etc) can work with 2.14, 2.13, 2.04, etc.
The versions included in the latest HIP all work with 2.1.4.
The versions included in pre-RoI HIP all work with 2.0.4.
 
The mod compatibility table now also includes a column for the CPR module. Note that it is not yet properly filled out beyond everything Immersion compatible definitely being CPR compatible.

Why isnt Decorus Visum compatible with 2.1.4? Ive been using it without knowing and havent run into any problems.

Cool. Meneth? I'll give it a try again some time shortly. I'm still not sure why it needs to override HIP's defines.lua and static_modifiers.txt, though, let alone with a special version for SWMH. We standardized on the same "opinion when no commander" and other changes as the original author did around the same time he released it.
I'm waiting for him to obtain permissions from the original modder first. Once that's happened I'll update the link to point to the HIP version instead.
 
Quick question guys! How do I create the roman empire title? Condition seems to be never? o_O I currently hold all of italy as orthodox (including rome), and Byznatine E does not exist.
The Byzantine Empire has a (vanilla) decision to create the Roman Empire.
 
What parts of Zulu Invasion don't work? I've had it enabled all along and I get events about them conquering, etc., and there's an actual Zulu Empire covering all of East Africa in my current game. The only weird thing I've seen is that everyone has access to a 6th retinue called Impi which I believe should only be allowed to the Zulus. I was going to fix that but I haven't been able to figure out how.
It was never updated for 2.0 and later, and people in its thread say the army never event attacks.
