Please upload your I:R save (preferably the previous one too).
Also, unless there's a good reason not to, you should always use the latest converter version (currently 6.2.17).
Sure, here are the saves. Although like I said, I got it working by deleting the elephants.

Am I not using the latest version? I downloaded it from the thread link and it ran an auto updater the day before I did my conversions. Is there a more recent version than that?

When converting, all countries other than the player country (Hibernia) and a few nearby are completely destroyed and split up - see before and after screenshots.
I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen, but my friend is playing Boihemia and so we'd like to keep his country together.
Conversion settings are attached, it's a multiplayer save at the usual Imperator end date.

I have to second this - except that it actually happened to my country, so it's not limited to AI countries.

Same when I use dynamic option the empire titles and kingdom titles will become rome revolt which is weird, and it reach through india which bothers me because in impe, I didn't reach that far.

Converter appears to not be working on MacOS atm.

Opens terminal but not the converter window, ending the process.
Are you running the ConverterFrontend? What does the terminal display?

Yes, see my reply, the updates are frequent. But it seems to have a problem with titles split up and badly localized, so you might want to wait until it's resolved.

I must join the fellows here as the converter splits my enormous roman empire from imperator to several kingdoms and it is named as some kind of revolt if I zoom out properly...

Several changes have been made since I last posted here:
  • The converter now assigns de jure empires for the entire map to prevent error.log errors. Gaps in de jure empire setup are filled with empires autogenerated from cultural heritages. Example from a test conversion:
    1678704281733.png
  • Added an option to decide whether I:R or CK3 flag should be preferred when I:R tag is mapped to existing CK3 title.
  • Unneeded characters coming from CK3 are now purged.
  • The converter now autogenerates religious head characters for faiths with Spiritual Head of Faith doctrine. This means that for example Coptic will have a head of faith in 476, despite a gap in CK3 history for d_coptic_papacy title.
  • Updated governorMappings.txt with additions for Invictus, credits to @Vielus.
Download link for the latest version is always in the first post.

The latest release of the converter now converts some character portraits!

Sadly, there are limitations:
  • Not all Imperator monarchs have DNA defined in the save game. I can't convert portraits for those.
  • CK3 does not have male pattern baldness, so many characters regain perfect hairline.

Here's what's currently converted:
  • eye, hair, skin colors
  • beards, hairstyles
  • "gene_head_height", "gene_head_width", "gene_head_profile",
    "gene_head_top_height", "gene_head_top_width",
    "gene_forehead_height", "gene_forehead_width", "gene_forehead_angle", "gene_forehead_roundness",
    "gene_forehead_brow_height",
    "gene_neck_length", "gene_neck_width",
    "gene_chin_forward", "gene_chin_height", "gene_chin_width",
    "gene_eye_distance", "gene_eye_height", "gene_eye_angle", "gene_eye_depth", "gene_eye_shut",
    "gene_mouth_width", "gene_mouth_forward", "gene_mouth_height",
    "gene_mouth_corner_height", "gene_mouth_corner_depth",
    "gene_mouth_lower_lip_size", "gene_mouth_upper_lip_size",
    "gene_jaw_forward", "gene_jaw_angle", "gene_jaw_height", "gene_jaw_width",
    "gene_bs_jaw_def",
    "complexion"
  • "age"
It's possible that more genes will be converted in the future.
If you have experience with portrait modding, help is welcome.

Hey guys! I was trying to convert different saves but always had same result. There were no errors, the conversion was successful. The game with the corresponding mod starts normally, but when I create a new game, I am given a default world map with the ability to select dates and other things. Can you tell me how to fix it? Saving and logs are attached, but saving is not interesting. I just saved the game right at the start for testing.
I checked the integrity of the game - everything is ok

Some other quick things to check: did the mod actually land in your CK2 mod folder? If you go there, can you see the mod? And after confirming that, do other manually installed mods work for you?

I'm talking about I:R ==> CK3 conversion, if its matter. 1) Yes, mod in the mod folder, I can see it. 2) Hmm, I tried to put two mods downloaded from nexus, the game starts with them, but they apparently don't work because I don't see the functionality they give
