Well, let's hope there is no serious bugs in initial release of 1.04 like with 1.03, so we can play with that.

Pat, can you post the scen today, so I can at least test it a bit and make sure no bugs occur?

Drake still has to assign dukes. If he doesn't soon, just assign them randomly, patr.

Sweden added in, German Duchies now Croatian, Italy seems alright. I also tweaked my character to bring him in line with how I've decide to RP him. I've ran the scenario to 1100 without incident, but you all are welcome as well.

One change I noticed with 1.04 (I ran it hands off to get a better simulation of the MP environment) is that I got several people (and by several I mean 7 over the course of three games) who got multiple educations. Indeed, in one of the test runs, George's 3rd son had a martial, ecclesiastic, and a court education. It may just have been a really odd coincidence, but it is also possible that 1.04 has tweaked those events in a way to make it more likely to fire multiple times in MP. Then again, I was also running it on Very Fast, so that might have had something to do with it, too....

His Dukes are his brothers-in-law. Those were the Dukes that Byak generated, and I just left them in place and made their wives sisters to King Johan. Since he didn't get back to us before I posted the scenario, those are his Dukes now.

Ok, that's fine then. Now we just hope for everyone to make it on time...

On the multiple educations, I believe it's a result of the game not stopping when they fire. Until you choose one, the child has no education, and the event can fire again. It is present in MP, though they may have changed the frequency of that event. Really all we can do is go by the honor system and say no one can deliberately get their children to hvae multiple educations. If character does have multiple educations, they extras can be edited out inbetween sessions (unless the character is a PC king; it that case it might be best to edit immediately).

I agree. I brought it up because I figured we would need to do something about it. Editing is probably the best solution.

Patr, when you switched base tax values between Krakowsie and Cieszyn, you forgot to switch the Small Castle. Did you forget any other techs, etc.?

I will in he birthday of a friend of mine today, so I will be unable to play. Maybe it could be better if I drop this game.

I'll be there and I'll be hosting. ;)

EDIT: I'm seriously hoping installing 1.04 on top of 1.03b will not pose any problems... due to certain circumstances I'm unable to do a clean reinstall right now. So keep your fingers crossed.

Tested it a bit, also had some battles and viewed them, no database mismatch. So it seems fine.

One thing that I think needs changing is switching techs and buildings between Krakowskie and Cieszyn, since the former is now the presumed capital of Poland. I'll fix it and post the scen later today (in case Marty decides to show up and create his character).

I'm not really sure what you mean. I haven't touched base tax values. Those are coded in db/province, which is a file that hasn't been modded by any of us. If the tax values have changed, it's because Paradox tweaked them in 1.04.

That said, I can switch the Polish Capital to Krakowskie and repost the scenario if that province now has a higher base tax value.

Or Solmyr can do it. ;)

Sorry, I didn't realize it was done by patch. But yes, I suppose Solmyr will be editing them.

No problem. I hadn't realized they had did it, or I would have fixed that when I was combing through the scenario last night.
