If the Savoy thing is just missing peace, I can do it during pause and then save when I do the rest of the edits. I can edit out Italy's and it's vassals wars with moslems as well. We would not like to have it seen an exploit to use AI as sub.

Good. And neither would I like to return and see Mamelukes have taken Venice :p

I bet the AI Italy will just declare war on some huge Muslim power anyway. :p
Hopefully not... With Church Supremacy in effect (dang and argh) piety is solidly positive, so the AI shouldn't have crusade-expectations at least presing. However, if one of Italy's allies DOW a moslem power, then the AI Italy surely will join happily a neverending war....

umm yah I could play in this game, what kingdom can I get ? :)))

i think aragon is open ....

Aragon or Scotland would have been primary options initially, but as the game has proceeded somewhat already, I'd suggest you take a peek in the save and pick a strong catholic kingdom you'd like. Following are taken: France, Germany, England, Italy, Hungary, Poland and Sweden.

Last session end save has been posted by Solmyr on this thread few pages back.

It should be noted that Aragon may have its crown claimed by France a few decades in the future, so keep that in mind. :D

The same could be said for Scotland, but such facts aren't really fatal. England and Scotland have already fought one war, which left both sides with some claims on the other's territory- though no territorial losses by either side. It would take a while to gobble up the Aragonese (or Scottish) crown, and Aragon/Scotland making the proper alliances (aka Germany, Poland, Italy, Hungary, etc) would help dissuade others from their current planned course of action (or would at least make it more dear to act.)

I would say that since those two domains have already been prepared for human players, he should pick one of those two. Also, I am always happy to see player wars rather than plaver vs. AI wars.

Right, I propose everyone attacks England next session. :p

All good things must come to pass. ;)

Bwaah, just did 'em. Stupid upload site is still down. :(

I tested it works and am going to sleep right now. I bugger deleted your e-mail Solmyr, so I can't send you the save right now, but I ask my gf to drag me up from bed when it's game time.

Crap session.

EDIT: I hope my steam cools down for next session, but if not, I'll just build up piety, get PC and then simply excommunicate every Piast heir who is not mad. Perhaps do the same with Vermandois afterwards...

Remember that it was a perfectly ICly executed plot. No need to get worked up over it OOC. And it followed excommunication rules, too.

Anyhow, save is here:

New Vermandois genealogy is here (a lot of excommunicating there :p):

Requested edits:
Counts of Leon and Cornouaille (C103 and C104) should be transferred under Duke of Brittany rather than King of France.
And German claim on Hainaut renounced (deleted).

Well, it was, but I think Habsburgs might think up other nice plans IC too. :D Also, I tend to get rather angry when things go badly wrong in games, but the steam goes out quite quickly. :)

Edit requests noted.

Take a peek at the save, you get much better view and we don't have to try to desperately make a good, but yet faulty explanation. :)

Herman should be grateful for the excommunication anyway, it allowed him to inherit the crown where previously he had little chance of that. :p

Well, we'll see when Herman is adult. :p

For now, family Habsburg is rather offended.
