I think that's just a rumor about Richard started by historians who like to make trouble, or maybe it's just that I hate to believe that the epitomy of chivalry was gay.

you could give him the benefit of doubt, but then again, imprisioning his wife and never sired a bastard in his whole life might point you to something else....

Oda Nobunaga is probably bi by social standards given it was a fashionable thing to do during that time period in Japan.

Oh, and how in Hades did I wind up with Usti nad Labum?

AI was allied to Germany and joyfully attacked at Bohemia when I did. As it was AI silliness, we could move it from England to Germany and give England -2 BB and Germany +2 BB.

I haven't yet found a willing sub to get up at 0500 CET to play...

Quite a coincidence though that ALL those great warriors were... mayhaps the historians just like to pick on em?

Maybe they as warriors were so long so close with other men out of necessity that they realized how natural and relieving it is to love men?

And the same can be said for many of the Roman Emperors who fancied men as well as women (Caeser, Nero, Caligula, etc.) I just wanted to point out that how one wields a sword has nothing to do with where one sheathes their sword.

And with that tasteless comment, I think we can officially proclaim this conversation dead. :D

They are sissies all. :D Well, we need to AI you then.

I firmly believe that the AI is a better sub than an untested MP player. As long as you plan ahead (like I did for this past weekend), you can at least be sure that the AI won't rack up 10 points of BB.

Nah. England has no interest in Usti nad Labum, but I could see King George swiping the territory in order to utilize it later. I did give him the "Selfish" trait, after all. England will be happy to part with the territory, but we can discuss in-game under what circumstances Germany might acquire the land peacefully from England.

Out of curiosity's sake, I took a peek at Authur's fertility. I'm officially declaring King Arthur gay. His fertility is 0.088. ;)

And I noticed Arthur's nephew is married to a Piast. It seems that when he ascends to the throne (after I change the laws back to Primogeniture and put George's eldest son's family back into the primary line of succession), the bad blood between the Roses and the Piasts will officially be dead. In that regards, the AI is clearly a better diplomat than I. ;)

Ah indeed! Welcome to the club of ball&chain :) As you have probably by now found out, you can now do basically do what you want (as long as you are true to your wife), because you can now stop pretending you are a considerate gentleman :D You know, if you want a beer, you have a beer. Or if you want to play CK 24/7, you play CK 24/7 :p

What Piast would that be patr? I am as proficient at producing daughter's as Byak's Poland was at producing sons...

Note also how quite a few Roses are married to Vermandois. Clearly the Roses know who their friends are. ;)

I have indeed noticed that. I have always said that the French have impeccable taste in women.

It's fine. My left hand is a bit heavier now, but other than that it's pretty much the same.

I don't recall her name off-hand . I do recall that she's a daughter of Roger Borsa Piast, though.

Hmm... roger's (no borsa) daughter would be Zbigniew's 2nd cousin (or cousin once removed), the cousin of his father essentially.

If we do not get a sub for Italy, I'd like to request that Italy's (and its vassals) wars be edited out? If you run the save game, AI Italy will conquer half of Anatolia with impunity, and I'd hate for Jarkko to use the AI sub to his advantage.

Agreed! And the war with Savoy and its last vassal was over when I crashed (in fact I CTD'd when making peace), so those two should be added to the realm of Italy (and if the Duchy of Savoy can be created, then the Kings second brother should recieve those two provinces as his duchy; if not, then make him count of the two).
