Here is another question and Im sorry if it is posted I missed it. I have seen the discussions about certains rules. I will go with what everyone else comes to on the vote. I am just curious if there is a rulesheet or forum that I can study and learn the rules before we play.
Kujy gave a link, check it out but bear in mind some of them are likely to be changed and all of them can be opposed and discussed again if you bring a serious argument.

well pretty much EVERY other nation has been taken I decided to take a rus nation.
Let me list some which are not taken:
Iberia - Castille, Navarra, Aragon, Barcelona, Galicia, Braganza
West Europe - Burgundy, Bretagne, Scotland, Irish duchies
Central Europe - Bohemia
Scandinavia - Denmark, Sweden
Balkans - Croatia, Byzantium
East Europe - Polotsk, Pereyaslavl, Pronsk

Still quite a lot to pick from..;)

Well, I was hoping that Sid would change, but now it would seem even more dangerous for the Duke of Kiev. Positioned between the Kingdom of Poland and Duchy of Pereyaslavl, I don't think he could survive that easily. My advice, Sid, would be to switch to a different Russian power. It is completely your choice, though.
My proposed solution to situation in Rus:

We should have at least 2, but no more than 3 powers there (prioritised list follows):
1.Pereyaslavl - the strongest kniazdom from the start
2.Kiev - the second strongest, allied to Novgorod, will inherit Novgorod, has claims on Polotsk (can annex it very early)
3.Pronsk

So, I forgot which one of you was taking whom, but I propose that:
Pereyaslavl - Germax (as he wished)
Kiev - Sid Meier
Pronsk - free for taking.

The main reason I propose 3 humans being in Rus (and if noone takes 3rd, I might as well be it)
is that there are 3 thrones easily available to russian principalities - Rus, Cuman, Bolgar (the Ural one), thus it wouldn't be too hard to avoid conflict over who will be king. Lithuania is also available if Kievan duke plays wise and annexes Polotsk ASAP, later adding a few provinces from pagans.

Just to make my pal Kujy happy i will share this beautiful and rare post from me
Ahh, greetings, Tzare, 'the Silent', of Serbia as we should call you..:D

Wait a minute, who's France?

Oh and with 16 players, which is good to see, will sadly enough result in lagtastical and crashtical experiance, especially with how stable CKMP is...

In EU2MP, I have rarely seen more then13 players...so this will interesting to see...

Let's hope for the best. Even if we might have a slow game, 15+ dedicated players would be awesome. I can't wait 'til sunday :D

Oh, and those of you who are uncertain about your internet connections, please post in Drachenfire's "ports need testing" thread here in the multiplayer section. I can make myself available for connection tests if needed.

Slow in CKMP is for the most of the time the only speed that is fairly stable....I love that so many is in this game. Wonderful!

the less lords in Russia the happier I'll be. But it'll either be Kyiv or Byzantium. I'ld have to look at the other Russia's.

You can believe me, as a conqueror of Rus, Cuman and Bolgar lands by year 1093 (IIRC it was the last year of our last session), that the more (russian) lords in Russia, the happier you'll be..;)

how so isnt it harder to conquer russia's if their human?

Jusk ask Sterk. :D
Yea...but he atleast didn't get it in less then 40 years...

I have read the rules though I am a little confused on some of the abbreviations.

AAR. I have no clue what that is. As well as BB when it comes ot the AI.

I also have another question on dealing with the pagans. If I am by chance bordering pagan countries must I wait until a crusade to fight them or are they free game at any time? I am a little confused as to how this works.
Thank you for taking the time to read these questions.

You must wait until a crusade to attack any pagan or heathen. Pagans/heathens outside of your continent (though I would believe Georgia is in both Europe and the Middle East for these purposes) must hold a crusade target in their realm for you to attack them. AAR=After-Action Report, it is a summary of a game session, usually told in the form of a story or history. BB=Badboy, something you gain from taking provinces and other actions.

One reason you've already been told, but that's only a secondary one IMO.
It's much easier to survive if you have fellow Rurikoviches to ally with.
I was alone on the vast plains and forests of Rus, head-to-head with Sterk and the only way I could keep myself afloat was to grab every piece of land I can.

You may also merrily annex a heathen if it atacks you or if you help out your friend, who has been attacked, in a war, as far as you don't go outside the borders of your continent (Europa, Asia, Africa).

Lurken, if you don't remember, Sterk was the one constantly complaining about my conquests..

Just one suggestion, make the colour of Cuman something different than green.

Both Russia and Cuman are green as it is now.
I second that.
