Incidentally, WG, kudos to you for sticking with England in times of difficulty. I agree with you that the north Sea needs a third power to balance me and RP. Which is not to say that I'm about to give up my claims on York, the Isle of Man, and Scotland. And come to think of it, Norwegians were kings in Ireland once. Perhaps I should impose on you a bit of Danegeld, eh?

I was just suggesting an out for you since you seemed to be getting a bit frustrated last time. I know how painful the vassal revolt death spiral is. Glad to see you want to stick with it.

Personally, so long as we all agree to keep Poland in check, I'd say let Hungary run itself AI until it implodes (which MrT's next event set will likely cause it to do!)

Also: I may (not sure yet) be either late or need a sub for sunday. Company is sending me to Chicago to help open a new store and I'm not sure if I can get home when I want.
 
Only thing I would ever want from Hungary is Galich and Terebovl, simply because they stole those provinces from me.

I'm considering withdrawing from this game in favour of an EU2 MP that starts shortly after this one does; I figure it will be advantageous for you guys anyway, seeing as I usually crash at least once a session, and in the inevitable event that we do need to rehost, I'm slowing it down tenfold.

It would be nice to pick up CK MP when It's a bit more stable, thanks for putting up with me guys - good game.
 
I will not be able to make it to tomorrow's session I believe (Father's Day, going to be doing something else most of the time).

It seems we are losing players left and right. I really hate to see so many folks lose interest in our game, but I expect with what we have planned it'll take a determined type of gamer to stick it out.

For those who are planning to play tomorrow please post here. I noticed we haven't heard from Kle since last weekend. I do hope everything is well with you Kle and that you will be able to join us tomorrow. Hope to hear from you all.

Just to clarify, I'm not losing interest, I simply can't make tomorrow's session (or at least not most of it). I'm sticking with this game till the bitter end.

Weekly Game Update


We played at Slow for most of the game with 8 players. We played from April 11 1144 to November 5 1149.

The players this session:
  • KoM - King of Norway
  • Sterkarm - King of Poland
  • Lurken - King of Castille
  • Traveler - King of Naples
  • Lotus Lo - King of Jerusalem
  • Prime - Duke of Flanders
  • Dominus - Duke of Brandenburg
  • Duuk - Duke of Bavaria

We had 6 game stops. I’ll list the causes for each stop:
  • Stopped to p/u Sterk
  • Lotus crashed, not sure why
  • KoM crashed after trying to clear many pop-ups
  • Duuk crashed after going AFK, not sure why
  • Lurken crashed while clicking muslim marshals liege portrait
  • Dominus crashed while in proposing peace, then accepted peace to same while still in peace screan
  • Duuk crashed, not sure why

Even more fighting this game if you can believe it. Please post those AARs. Where is Kle? Hope everything is ok with you Kle, please contact us to let us know what’s up. We’ve got a lot of openenings, if you are interested in playing drop a line and read the thread starter.

Mein Gott, that was awful. How on Earth did I pick up so much badboy? Anyway, fear not, I have a Cunning Plan. Norway will come back even from this.
