I would suggest you take Hungary, we are really feeling the lack of a balancing human player on the Black Sea, in the Balkans, in the Crimea, and in south-east Germany. England would be a good second, with its possibilities for contesting the North Sea, adventures in France, and intervention in the Baltic and Germany. Be aware that it has just had a civil war nearly as devastating as the one that ripped Norway apart, though. Rhodes, um. I rather feel we have enough Med players already. Also you'd be facing four strong powers who have had time to expand. Truly, I advise against it.
