I see screenshots of Essoss, is there a Essos beta version to download?

Probably not for you. :eek:hmy:

If you're impatient search for +AGOT + Citadel or for the Blog +AGOT +Wordpress or simply use the link in the first post.

I think something weird is up with the mod in its latest update, whenever anyone of Valyrian culture is in my court they immediately die of "natural causes" a few days later, no matter how old they are.

If you're talking about lowborn, it's intentional. It's the way the mod ensures that Valyrian features maintain its relative scarcity in Westeros.

Will there ever be a Wildlings invasion event? Last time I tried playing them, they weren't even allowed to raid the North, cause both followed the Old Gods.

There already is a wildling invasion event, in some capacity. If a wildling takes the wall, an event triggers sooner or later (it has some other triggers that i dont know of) that cause them to invade the Iron Throne with a horde.

Speaking of wildings, been playing a wilding dynasty for quite some time now, and i would like to see two changes.

1. Can you make the wildling malus both ways please? its ludicrous that any southerner hates all wildings but wildlings are completely fine with being ruled by southerners. (this really comes into perspective once you get southerner vassals who try to rebel and take your throne, and watch as all your wildling vassals back his claim for some reason)

2. Can you make it so that wildings can change the succession laws of the Night's Watch? It is really annoying to have an indestructible ducal title that keeps on bouncing back to southerners that hate me because its on open elective and there is a bunch of southerners that hate the wildling lord of the night's watch and are in his court.

So, uh, I've been playing as a high lord in the Kingdom of the North and have slowly been plotting to get my family on the Iron Throne. The time drew near and I was slowly picking off each member of the royal family but for the last female, with whom I was betrothed to be wed, which would cause our children to bear my name... I sent a Faceless Man to deal with the last male in the family and, uh, when that happened... the whole kingdom of the Iron Throne became ruins. All but the Reach and the North who were independent kingdoms, everything became an uncontrolled ruin.

Wut.

Oh my god that is the most awesome bug ever.

I think you just out murdered Genghis Khan.

The Iron Throne starts as Agnatic inheritance. That female should be incapable of inheriting. Not sure how the ruin mechanic works exactly, but that might be the cause.

This mod is awesome and really motivated me to pick up Crusader Kings 2 again. I have two questions though, and if anyone could answer them I would really appreciate it.

Firstly, is there any type of dragon breeding? I have three dragons between everyone in my family and I'm wondering how to increase this (if possible)

Secondly, when I started (I'm playing as Aegon's son, start date roughly 8020) King's Landing had five holding slots filled. I had an intrigue option to expand the Red Keep for 250 gold. It said it would take several years. Does anyone know what exactly this does? Is it like a really cheap way of upgrading the Red Keep's castle level thing?

I don't think so. The heir was indeed the sister at the time of the king's death, and even if it was agnatic, surely it would pass to either another of that royal family, or the next person 'deemed worthy' (I'm not sure how that works but I have once seen the Rykkers take the throne because the previous royal family died).

Heh, I love salt wives! Though my King Theon had a couple who were geniuses and his brood started to reach Genghis Khan levels in the quest for genius kids. Then my heir had to be a traitorous little douche and convert to the Seven when I wasn't looking. Damn heathen!

I'm having a severe problem with the new patch, namely the unholy amount of deaths by disease. Five years into Robert's Rebellion, Jon Arryn, Robert's Queen, Mace Tyrell, Jon Connington and half of the Stark household has been killed off by the Great Plague.

My favorite Theon thus far was back before TOG was released, and I got him hitched to Arianne Martell.

Second the comment by ByzantineCeaser. Tywin and Cersei dead in the first year, 3 of my 6 Counselors (House Grafton) dead in the 2nd year, Jon Arryn dead...bloody flux.

Need to severely reduce plagues.
Shireen Baratheon is the only significant character in Westeros with a notable disease, and Connington may or may not bring the catastrophic plague back with him.

IMHO they shouldn't be reduced.

They should tie them to events (Plague outbreak!) instead - so Great Spring Sickness doesn't happen every two years, but when it strikes... then, oh, boy - you'll want to escape to the sea, unnerfed Khanaten Flu in EK style ;)

Also, not true. Robert Arryn, Gyles Rosby, etc. are also ill. And Davos was at one point.

Reporting a bug:
In a feast for crows scenario the laws of the Iron Island is Agnatic Primogenetive, when then should be elective.

Not really a bug. They aren't elective in any scenario. Which makes me wish, playing as Vickon Greyjoy in the first two, you could found a faction for elective. But you can't and i'm not sure why.

They are elective in ACoK - which makes sense. But they revert back to their normal succession after first Kingsmoot IIRC. Which also makes sense, as Kingsmoot isn't your everyday's happening - and Seastone Chair is mostly inherited by primogeniture / 'open' (arabic) succession.
