Well, I believe the already named swords can be obtained in battle, and there is an ambition that leads to a very well thought out and good event chain. As for dragons, its VERY rare, but there are ambitions and event that allow you to get one. just have a ton of money, fire obsessed in some cases, and theres a chance to get one. you can always check the event files to learn how to get one or more of each.

I'm not sure but in response to your question about Harrenhal, you can only choose it as your capital if a) you hold it directly and b) it hasn't been attacked by dragons, ie it isn't a ruin.

The Iron Isles have the ability to raid and during raids they can take Valyrian swords from families. That's one of my favourite things to do personally XD But in regards to obtaining one for yourself, if you have the ambition to gain one you usually receive an event within a few years about an old man coming to your court claiming to have knowledge of such a sword.

Is it the plan, that the lands of Essos will be implemented in a future patch?
I could see a link to a place, where there are images of a Essos in progress, at it seems, but I could not see any descriptions on when it would be done?
 
This is a great mod and has loads of great features, such as; the judgement of prisoners, the dueling system, the capturing of castles has events and the list goes on! I was wondering if maybe there was a way these could be integrated into the vanilla game in another mod?

Getting a dragon egg takes an incredibly long time. To be more exact, a minimum of at least 760 years as a player. And once you have the dragon egg, you need to go through the arduous, somewhat expensive, and incredibly risky process of hatching the egg. Once it's hatched, however, it is rather easy to tame, at least for the hatcher.

I wouldnt say 760. I obtained an egg in the iron isles within what Id say 200-300 years.
 
Is it a bug or a feature that 6 times in 25 years nonames get dragons (random valyrians) and Targs go extinct because of Bloody Flux, dreaded Plague or something else?

The new epidemic plagues are to hard in my eyes. all Children of Aegon (9) died because of bloody Flux, soon after Rhaenys gave birth to a daughter and died one year later. Aegon and Visenya followed 2 years later and now theres a three year old girl on the
Throne of a Scattered Empire wich falls apart with ~15 Noname-Dragonriders all over the realm :p

It's also possible to find an unnamed Valyrian steel sword after a battle.

I misspoke. I meant the lowest mtth. You can get it earlier if you're lucky, but that's generally the amount of time that passes before the event fires.
 
Thanks for all the replies about the swords and dragon's... One more question, about obtaining a sword in battle... Does you ruler have to be commanding troops in the battle, or does it matter? I usually do not have my ruler commanding troops.

0.4.7 is up. Authorisation is done it seems. Currently downloading.

edit: gahh, accidently downloaded the installer. Now all again for the zipped files. Me idiot. :blush:

So this is fairly interesting...

Ruins managed to take over all of Dorne except a single, solitary province (and high lordship). They've been "ruling" for about 15 years now....



Oh, and with the option to declare yourself King-Beyond-the-wall, can you make it so you can't do it when there is another reigning king? it is rather silly to watch the title bounce back and forth as soon as two independent wildlings get high lordships.
