In my personal submod I reenabled diseases only to find that they were way too harsh. What I did was set time periods... I.E. a Greyscale epidemic set to start soon after Aegon of Essos arrives, and then for example another disease set to come in a century or so to keep things interesting etc. I recommend doing this with the mod. EDIT: Grey plague should only happen 'when maester pycelle is young' -- when he is in his teens I imagine... so around 230AL (8230)
EDIT2: Great Sickness should only be in around 209AL... Pale mare and greyscale (which I see is no longer in diseases.txt) are the only two which should always be around.. the others maybe could have a supremely low chance of outbreak?

EDI3: Long as I'm here.. Robb has too many men in ACOK... in the lore he only had 16,000 or 18,000 men.. He has way more in the mod depending on how much his vassals like him. In ACOK Tywin should have 60,000 , Renly 100,000 etc.

Thanks for all the replies about the swords and dragon's... One more question, about obtaining a sword in battle... Does you ruler have to be commanding troops in the battle, or does it matter? I usually do not have my ruler commanding troops.

I assume so - after all, such events usually launch for people that are actually present. I don't know anything specific, it just happened to me once.

Anyone else got the weird bug where all the counties are named after real counties? Example: I have Gloucester in the North and things like that. In short Counties are not named correctly.

I got that once but in the last version. Was weird.

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the portraits of provinces? I'm playing as House Thenn, who are obviously wildling, but as we are a part of the North we've been able to expand it into a Northern castle instead of a Wildling keep. Would be great if I could change the potrait to a castle.

Also, I've just found myself in a battle between the King of the North (Jon Snow's son whom I serve) and... the Lord Paramount of the North, who was a peasant revolutionary-turned-liberator... o_O I didn't know both alternative titles could exist at the same time.

Do you have any other mods enabled? I am no expert, but IIRC e.g. having both CK2+ (or any such mod, really) and AGoT enabled could result in such result.

Alright so loving the new interface and whatnot, but here a few funky things I've noticed so far with the last update:

Ruins are broken, at least in my case:

-A number of cities are gavelkind for some inexplicable reason. Noticed this in the vale and in the iron islands, don't know how universal.

- The minimap shows essos

- some titles are wonkey:

- this is actually an older issue, but shouldn't the Greatjon have more children? At least according to the wiki, there are several refrences to sons and daughters.

- aaand this:
Which confirms my fan theory that the Mad King is STILL ALIVE and SECRETLY PULLING THE STRINGS! It's so obvious MKA +JC = AT!!!!

As always, thanks for the ridiculous work you guys put in for free.

(and pardon my stupidity, but should I have deleted the game of thrones folder in documents/paradox interactive/crusader kings 2 as well as the one in documents/paradox interactive/crusader kings 2/mod? Because the instructions are unclear - at least to me - on that point, and conceivably could be causing some of the problems.)

As always, thanks for the update. Even though it's actually devouring time that I needed for studying for exams!

The megawars seem buggier than usual, ran into many instances where an LP started an independence war from the Iron Throne, was defeated, but not reincorporated into the realm so they declared an independent kingdom anyway.
