I think the three Mary effigys are too common. As the HRE, my vassals constantly gift me the effigys and now I have seven of them
Nice collection!
I'll look into it asap. Maybe you can forward me your debug.log, it contains logging data about CFP events that allow me to create simple statistics.

@El Tyranos Are you open to enabling Cloaks for children?

I enabled it in my own pre-3.0 games, but I can't remember which files it was.

Enabling it caused no gameplay issues, because the AI kids never used it. Only I as the player used the feature.
I'll look into it aswell, thanks for the feedback.

Meanwhile, first hotfix is out!

Version 3.0.1
~ Added: The Catholic Trinity mod in-built compatibility.
~ Changed: EP1 western royal crown is now disabled on AI (still in barbershop) as it's in CFP as a western imperial crown (where it should be).
~ Changed: Iron Crown of Lombardy headgear replaced by CFP model.
~ Changed: Iron Crown of Lombardy artifact is now using CFP model.
~ Changed: Iron Crown of Lombardy assigned as per vanilla behavior (not assigned to kingdom of italy anymore).
~ Changed: Iron Crown of Lombardy artifact will have a proper icon now thanks to Atral. Will only affect artifacts from new games as they don't refresh.
~ Changed: Burmese characters will dress up using the indian pools as welll as the majapahit mod jam pool for more variety.
~ Fixed: CFP courts are now assigned based on "capital_county.kingdom" instead of "any_sub_realm_county" ("capital location there" instead of "having a vassal there").
~ Fixed: CFP fleets models are working again. They are assigned more widely because of an engine issue to read at former data.
~ Fixed: typos in Russian localization thanks to Kodeks!
~ Removed: deprecated accessory_genes for latin_royalty.

Man.....this mod is amazing, your work is beautiful, honestly I’d shill for this lol.

I’d like to bring up the Monomakhos Crown though, it wasn’t actually headgear but as Timothy Dawson states here a Armband given during Triumphs to Generals or the Emperor.

Represented here alongside the crested Toufa Crown.

It would be cool to include the Toufa(Toupha). A Crested crown of animal feathers, hair or Bristles embedded with Precious gems or Pearls used during Triumphs and ceremonies.

We know from Abu al-Fadl Ibrahim ibn Ali al-Kafartabi(struggle to type that lol) that Romanos Diogenes used it in the Easter celebration of 1071 before Manzikert.
Shown being presented to John Tzimeskes in the Bamberger Gunthertuch.

And here in this contemporary drawing from the 15th century of an older version that was on the Column of Justinian in Constantinople.

Hi,
In the Norman court room, my spouse throne collides with my own artefact throne.
From what I have seen in other courts, it seems that the spouse's throne shifts more to the right, when a better throne is displayed.

Again thanks for the awesome mod and for the timely update. Without the CFP i wouldn´t even started a Royal Court playthrough yet; This mod is utterly essential and now, with the new culture system, it will be able to shine even more, i think.

However, i wanted to report something. When playing as a Ruler of Mon culture and hybridizing with the Bengali culture i could only pick "indian" clothing, and not "indian and mon/burmese clothing (or something)". Thus losing access to all the burmese style clothing.

I guess that some other cultures might have the same issue and i´m sure this problem is known and will be sorted out, by creating more granular clothing styles, but nevertheless i wanted to report it.

I am looking at the best way to fix it.
Probably you won't be able to chose (it would break compatibility with too many mods) but CFP clothing will follow cultures when they hybridize or diverge by checking at their parents.

Started new game in 867 as a chief of a small tribe in west africa. clothing looks a bit odd or at least differs a lot from my expectations. Not very tribal looking. And would probably get pretty hot in there. Pretty sure vanilla had most guys shirtless or with one very light layer in this region?

Is this really more historically accurate? It's possible, as I don't really know the history. But it would surprise me.

Also what is up with my kids hair color? Is it blond-ish? I am colorblind but it also is different from what I'd expect.

I hope question doesn't offend anyone, and I am ready to stand corrected by someone who knows the history more.

Thanks for your effort with this mod.

I have maybe a bug.
It seems if one get One-eyed, the healthy eye changes color too, often its a pale blue almost white, or if someone gets blinded the eyes look still normal.
Bug or intended?
Only this mod is active.
Its not gamebreaking, just wanted to know.

I love how you made the court look bigger by making the walls open to show an open area beyond it. That's a nice touch. It feels more grand than the fully enclosed courts.

Hello!

We are pleased to announce our next major expansion for Community Flavor Pack: Music of the Court
This expansion will add a lot of flavor around the theme of music, all over the CK3 world (events, decisions, artifacts, props, animations, etc.).
Its philosophy is not to change any existing system but rather to provide players with the feeling that music sits in-between power, religion and culture.

Last but not least, this expansion will come with an original soundtrack composed and orchestred by Farya Faraji.

As this expansion is rather ambitious and its development should last for a little while, we set up an early access to the development build for Patreons. CFP Patreon is working as a non profit organization, money is re-used to hire contractors and increase the production capacity at the best possible quality.

Hello fellow CK3 players!

Today I am pleased to share with you the first devblog of the upcoming CFP expansion « Music of the Court ». Before I start, let me remind you that the philosophy of the update is not to change any existing system but rather to provide players with the feeling that music sits in-between power, religion and culture. The update will therefore add a lot of content made in order to enhance your visual and musical experience before anything else.

Of course, this comes will several new minor mechanics thought to bring music to life and not simply add a soundtrack and a few bits of text in "usual" CK3 events.

Minstrels and Troubadours concept
The update is built around one new trait that will display the character as a minstrel or a troubadour depending on his social status. While minstrels will populate the world and courts among lowborns, troubadours will have to study poetry and music in order to gain the trait. Cultures with traditions related to poetry and music will have a more powerful trait and easier access to it.

devblog_1_2.jpg

[Troubadour trait effects]

As landed nobles, player who acquire the Troubadour trait will access new events and unlock new decisions. Minstrels remain useful of course, retaining them at your court will unlock events related to them. They can also perform honourably as court musicians, and you will need to pay a court musician to access a lot of the new content.

devblog_1_3.jpg

[Differences between troubadours and minstrels]

Travelling Minstrels
Minstrels are often wandering performers and you will be able to listen to them. Their culture define the instruments they shall carry and the music they shall play.
Thanks to a new scripted system, available minstrels (who are not guest, nor courtiers, nor busy travelling and within range) will travel from place to place and perform concerts, gaining experience and making them valuable musicians. Most of them will remain unknown but sometimes you might encounter a most famous musician.

devblog_1_5.jpg

[this character is a greatly trained musician]

As they travel, they may reach distant lands and please your court's ears with unhabitual sounds. On another hand, as you travel yourself on a pilgrimage or a crusade, you may encounter a local musician. But will you like his/her unholy music?

devblog_1_4.jpg

[knock knock]

That's it for today! I hope you enjoyed. Next time we will talk about the new decisions.

There seems to be a problem with Oghuz armor distribution. All oghuz wear cuman armor and not their seljuk armor. If i use this mod + Ethnicities & Portraits Expanded + Compability patch, all steppes culture wear generic steppes clothing.
