If I reckon it right, it is Mongolic hairstyle.
Indeed it is !

The work in this mod is gorgeous, it's great to see that the 3D portraits aren't such a major impediment to mods like this coming out.
Glad you like it :)
Just a matter of specialization, 2D artists usually don't do 3D, and vice versa.

I love this, the bi-beard is probably the most glaring absence from the game's hairdos. It's the most recognisable Medieval beardstyle.

But I think the beard point should be closer to each other. More like these images:

I guess it depends on whether the guy has straight beard hair, or if it's made of curlier material, but I've always had ingrained in my head the image of these forkbeards that curl slightly inwards.

Which makes me think that the game also probably lacks a proper curly long beard à la Commodus (short moustache, the rest long and bushy)

Amazing work on the iron crown! Also quite looking forward to the doge of Venice hat!

What's the "Roman crown" that you have planned for the Southern European pack? I don't quite recognize it from the screenshot on Trello.

Version 2.11 is now available!
~ Fixed: removed bald haircuts from regular haircuts so children wont be randomly bald.
~ Changed: characters with beauty_bad_X traits (homely, ugly, hideous) will become bald at 35/40 or 45 y.o. to compensate the removal of bald haircuts from DNA lists.
~ Changed: characters with stress coping traits will become bald 5 years earlier to compensate the removal of bald haircuts from DNA lists.

~ Fixed: Mena characters can now become bald.
~ Fixed: Steppe characters can't become bald anymore.
~ Fixed: only war educated Slavic characters will use the Rus warrior haircut. This should reduce by a lot its usage frequency.
~ Fixed: Slavic babies won't have the Rus warrior haircut anymore.

~ Updated: korean translation thanks to 크번빌!

It's a fictional but credible asset that was recommended for iberian rulers. Unless it's a reproduction from an historical source but I'm not too sure.

Got it! The name made me curious, because I thought the screenshot gave me Iberian vibes. Good to know that's exactly what it's supposed to be.

Oh ok, it's actually "Romanesque" not "Roman".

Early Medieval crowns tyended to be tall cylindrical (like the Lombard Iron Crown), sometimes they had points or decorations of some kind. They were very common, but ultimately by 1200-1300 crowns became flashier but less tall.

There are pelnty of sources showing those kinds of "tall Romanesque crowns". The TV show where El Tyranos got the screenshot from was masterfully researched (they even had bishops with the globular mitre that's accurate for the 10-11th Centuries!)

I wonder if there would be more distinction between Turkic cultures and Mongolic cultures on their attires.

« Southern Europe pack » will release in 2 stages : Latin culture first (v2.20), Iberian after (v2.25). Here are the helmets you'll meet fighting in Italy. From left to right : Siculo-norman helmets, Italian curved and flat top helmets. Color on the right one are random.

A steppe specific update is planned later. Check the roadmap.
