Fascist Afghanistan, the cores of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan when fascist afghanistan goes to war with the USSR end up with the Tajik and Turkmen states from Afghan cores. They probably shouldn't.

I really, really wish, and i'm not the only one here probably, that there was a British Loyalist path for the British Raj.

Could you add a way to modify the Afghan Royal Household Division for Afghanistan? It's a meh division that doesn't hold up late game. Be nice to have a way to modify or delete it if go towards Army Professionalism.

I'm also going to give the new Afghani democratic focuses a try and see if it improves the ability to quickly flip democratic.

  • Equipment Designer - We’ve added functionality to save your designs across game sessions. Save a tank/ship/plane design in one playthrough, and load it up in another.

Someone competent have finally took the project's reins. I lived to see this day - and I'm really glad.
Developers, dears, screw Open Beta.
Regardless of how bugged the feature prototype is, you'll make thousands of players happy by releasing it now.
We waited for it so damn long...
...it does come with a proper saved designs library (so we can save, say, some early-game designs, some mid-game and some late-game), riiiiiight?

Few more years - and we might see proper UI support for naval invasions (and whatever else may and will fail silently), which would state explicitly how and why it has failed to start...

Why can't Iraq have a proper Communist path aside from Kurdistan?

Also, does Iran still rush to surrender on Historical AI even if it's in the Axis and has a ton of allied troops defending it?

So does Soviet Union Historical still go for National Specialists, instead of Foreign Experts, with American and Civilian upgrades clearly being meant to offset the Five-Year Plan's Consumer Goods? Let me check.

Yup, still there.

You may want to consider lowering the requirement for "Parliamentary Democracy" to avoid the civil war from 50 to 35 or 40. By 1938, with the new focuses I was only able to get to about 40% stability before the "Pro-Democratic Influence" ceased and I started to lose Democratic popularity. I had to console command myself to get the democratic support up.

Feedback after quickly going through the beta > The Saadabad shared tree is a huge improvement to the DLC, I believe it should be expanded with a few more focuses, for the sake of flavor, it should be able to grant these countries things they normally wouldn't get easily through their trees. Nice job. Also, did you guys consider moving the Anglo Iranian Oil Company and making it Iran's industrial concern like it was done to the Turkish Debt Council?
Also, I belive the Islamist Revolution in Iran could use a little more to differentiate it from the democratic path, they are two opposite extremes that share the same diplomatic branch, maybe give the islamists a small sub branch that could lead the player towards a different direction, or maybe give them some kind of idea or advisors to make them stand out.
Someone already pointed this out, but the Resistances spirit could be developed a little more, if we could get something like more advisors and manpower if we handled the separatists in a different way, it'd make for an interesting choice, considering the iranian advisors mostly have generic traits.
On to a more ambitious topic, maybe the different ideologies that Iran follows could lead to different focuses for the Saadabad Pact. Maybe an Islamist Iran could use the shared tree to shape the region towards that, it's just something I thought would be nice.

But isn't historical path about - being historical? I couldn't find any real information about that 'Gosproyektstroi' other than a single unsourced wiki page and many hoi4 gameplay references. Besides it's from the time of the previous 5 year plan.

You are able to import any design that is available for the equipment designer you have open. This includes if you are missing modules, upgrade levels, it is made for different chassis that you have open or even if it contains things from mods.

As for loading designs, you will not be able to select the designs for which you lack modules or an upgrade level for. The designs for different chassis are not visible until you open the designer with that chassis. If a design contains modules or upgrades from a loadset you don't have (e.g. disabled mods), then it will not show up in the lists either.
Judging by this reply, it seems that a frequent outcome will be: you can't load a design because you forgot to research some little thing from it, forcing you to either a) keep a bunch of random designs accounting for most common combinations of omitted upgrades (suboptimal and a lengthy setup, though not a huge problem IMO), b) design something normally (counterproductive to the whole point of this feature).

I think it could be cool if designers are allowed to display unresearched equipment modules (that you can still add into the design for the purposes of testing out various stats, or making an exported template for later) but of course such a design can't be saved in-game for production.
Hence if an invalid design is loaded from a file it just displays which modules are illegal and prompts you to change them. Hence you can make a few of common designs and tweak things on the go, depending on what you have researched in this particular run.

Here's a few sloppy Paint mockups:

('show illegal modules' box is off by default)
Using your own screenshot plus a random one from the Internet (can't open game right now)

What do you think - is it possible that a feature like this is considered? This will make saving templates an absolutely godlike power

Overall this looks fantastic. Afghanistan civil wars remain super annoying, but other than that I can find no complaints.

As a side not, not GoE related. The Japanese general focus that gives you 3 generals only actually gives you one.

The USSR involved quite a few foreign experts (US in particular) in designing industrial plants and such, though AFAIK it was mostly over by 1937.

Please give Ethiopia the ability to dictate peace terms with Italy, instead of having to settle for whatever Italy offers. Maybe an event/decision that only appears once Ethiopia controls all core states and Italian East African colonies?

Italy's starting to lose, Ethiopia has the upper hand and is about to seize all of the region. Why should they have to settle for lesser terms or nothing at all?

Some more feedback after further testing:
- There should be a way to expand the Saadabad pact into a full fleshed faction, specially taking into account that the last 2 focuses of that branch can only be taken while in a faction with the other Saadabad members.
- Lower the Democratic support necessary for a peaceful democratic change in Afghanistan to 40%, even with the new focus and advisors it's not possible to raise it up to 50 without commands.
- Add the option for Kurdistan to foment rebellions on Kurdish territory of other nations, similar to Ethiopia's comunist path.
- Make it so India has a greater chance of accepting giving to you Pakistan as Afghanistan if you are part of the Allies.
- Add Pakistani Generals/Marshalls/Admirals to Afghanistan if India accepts to give you Pakistan.
- Add a proper Iraqi comunist path.

This seems like a very good patch. The extra resources for Iraq and Iran is greatly appreciated, and I'm glad you added a clause for Iran's "swear fealty to the invaders" focus which allows an Axis player to actually intervene and potentially secure Iran from the U.K and the Soviets, adding another player to the war so to speak- similar to how If AI Iraq manages to hold on to their territory before they can begin the "Restore the Regent" focus, you can keep Iraq in the Axis as another fighter in the war- which is great flavor for historical and semi-historical play, so thank you!

The ability to store equipment designs to use across playthroughs is one thing we've been asking for years to cut down time spent on things we have to do, and I hope you can eventually introduce a similar system for designing divisions, maybe even for MIO choices, and heck, maybe even a queue system similar to the MIO's for Experimental Facilities! Things like this greatly improves the quality of life of the game, and makes managing the constant introduction of new systems from every major DLC alot more manageable and enjoyable, so thank you for introducing the 1st piece of the puzzle (well, maybe technically 2nd since the introduction of queing traits for MIO's was added after AAT released!)

One more important thing, I'm glad to see the Anglo-Iraqi treaty is now removed if you go to war with the U.K as Hashemite/Caliphate Iraq and you don't get stuck with it forever (something I complained about 2-3 weeks ago in the last war effort patch), however the part of this national spirit which is something as a player you should be scared of, the -10% attack and -10% defense against the United Kingdom is no longer something you need to fear since the national spirit is instantly removed when going to war. A compromise should be made, either the National spirit shouldn't be instantly removed but instead put on a timer of say, 90 days when entering into war against the U.K until its removed, or you make it a decision that costs PP or XP to remove in a similar amount of timeframe, to represent how dangerous it is for Iraq which is Almost a british client state, but isn't, to go to war with the U.K as they will already know the weakness' of Iraq's military thanks to their military access as represented in game.
