Guess might as well start this one, for all the things that should make it into 1.1 =)

Note that the expanded graphics is incredible and I'm definitely not here to catalog all the bugs, just the ones I run across. Hopefully other people start helping once they play their first round :p I'm definitely not complaining so far; definitely worth the wait.

Visual Bugs:
x At extremely high resolutions (1920x1200) the "loading settings / cvars / etc." words are cut-off in the initial load. 1680x1050 does not appear to have this issue, nor does 1920x1080
x Same issue upon loading the scenario, same as above.
x At high resolutions, the screen flashes a bunch at random, usually right after clicking something. It does less so at 1680 x 1050 than 1900x1200, and is worst at "loading scenario"

Game Bugs:
x (By design?) America can become fascist / socialist really fast by changing national ideals over and over... :p

Settings launcher
im assuming that the resolution settings in there but when i try and launch it it says launch from the AOD folder. I tried doing so but same message. Idk not a big deal. Seems great guys im really really impressed.
Is not replicated by myself, no issues here.

x Upon selection of tech and starting of tech w/ tech team, list of teams resets to the top (not game-breaking)

---
To show you guys that I'm not all negative here, I'll also include some (personal) Plusses that I really enjoy, even if they're small :)
Awesome fixes from HOI2:DD/ARMA:
x Music volume much more controllable than before.
x Native "sliders can be changed" icon
x Native "Open tech slot" icon
x Amazing detail into the tool tips on the top bar, nice to see where everything goes.
x Amazing statistics, and its amusing to see estonia on the efficiency pie charts at the beginning. Makes me want to to an Estonia AAR.

battles of military controled allies

If i remeber correctly... when i military controled my allies, i used to be able to see the battle in ARMA , now in AoD it doesnt flash or show the battle... what happend ?

Soviet: Event Great Purge works incorrectly:

Code:
	command = { type = sleepteam which = 3706 } #Tukhachevsky
	command = { type = sleepteam which = 3716 } #Alksnis

I looked into teams_sov.csv, Alksnis - 3713, Tukhachevsky - 3718.

Game is slow for me (low core2duo), saving process in 1938 got 3+ minutes.

I think the problem is between the tech teams mod (which is included in AOD) and that they sort the techteams in alphabetical order and then the ID get mismatched in the event.

Quite sure on this, so it should be en easy one to look up.

There is another bug that I should post:

AoD crashed several times and always the same cause seemed to be the reason, choosing new techs in the screen. The game crashed always the day after changing, after choosing various techs at various dates.

Last time I selected Heavy Siege Gun Transport (I suppose that's the English translation).

Everytime I restart or reload the game I cannot reproduce the crash...

Don't know if this has been reported already, but in my game as the Soviets, I accepted the purge and got lots of pop up messages about people dying....but no-one appears to have.

Luminaries such as Tuchakevsky (sp?) are still proudly commanding troops despite apparantly being dead.

Confirmed, reported as bug #331

I just go this game yesterday, because of how disappointing HOI 3 has been so far. I have to say this game is FANTASTIC. I love the new scenarios, the additional techs, and all of the new features.

The only issues I have had so far are Screen Flickering, during the intro and during the game. My Auto-Save monthly also takes around 1-2 minutes. Not too bad. I am playing 36 Germany. the Czechs refused my demand to take Sudentland Sept 1938, so i declared war on them. While starting that war, Poland decided to declare war on me, though they are not allied with the Czechs. So I had no qualms about that until Russia decided to declare war on me as well. But since they are not at War with Poland they don't have a land route to get me until I decide to annex Poland and take the remaining border territories. So as long I just leave Poland with the strip bordering USSR, they can't get me. Which is fine for me because it is only 1939 now and I am not ready to take down the Russians just yet.

Great job on this game, especially for the stability and lack of bugs or game breaking issues. Well worth the 20 bucks I paid for it. AWESOME job to all involved with this project.

Another minor Soviet problem, the 76th 'Cherkassy' airborne division occurs several times, and it's kinda odd having 3 (or more) of them running around

NatChi is still at war with Guanxi when DOWed by JAP. Two months later NatChi conquers Guilin and Liuzhou but none of the other VP provinces and annexes Guanxi. Guanxi wasn´t threatened by a JAP attack either. Usually NatChi just got the eastern provinces of Guanxi. Has this changed?

That only happens if Nationalist China is still at war with Guanxi when Japan attacks. Otherwise Nationalist China just gets the eastern provinces like you described.

The game allowed me to do 3 slider moves in 1936 (as SOV) - first one on 1st Jan, then after a while (August) i looked into the diplomacy section and another slider move was possible, and 24 hours after that - another one.

I've been playing the SU ´39 campaign (N/N) since I got the game, and I have now noticed some issues:

1) It's now December of ´41 and Germany hasn't attacked me (and I'm pretty sure it's not because I outnumber them). I understand this may be a fluke based on random choices, but the reason I'm suspicious of this is that neither did Germany attack Yugoslavia, nor did Italy attack Greece. In fact I don't see much evidence that the Axis AIs has been doing much of anything since the beginning of ´41.

2) Despite a reported success rate of 7-8% for Smear Campaign against Germany in the intelligence screen, the actual success rate based on the messages I get is more like 90%. I've checked the save file and Germany has dissent, but I obviously can't be sure they got it from my actions. It's clear however that something is very wrong with this.

3) Tuchachevsky and Alksnis (sp?) are both active. This is probably a result of the same issue others have reported with the purge event.

4) On the whole I'm happy with how intelligence works, I found the click-fest that was intelligence in previous HoI2 incarnations to be tedious to say the least. My only complaint is that counter-espionage seems over-powered (even if I have a great counter-spy network it should not be impossible for opponents to succeed in getting spies into my country). That said, this is nothing new for AoD. :p

Didn't you get large dissent hits when doing this? If you did, it's WAD. You can move your DP sliders any time but you get dissent hits if you do it more than once a year.

In the Korean War scenario Busan may or may not start off with a fort seemingly at random.

Something isn't right when its a 30-70 chance of it starting with fortifications.

North Korea should also start with a transport or China's AI should be more willing to use its transport to take Jeju.

Finally why can't you use an allies transport or at least board it? D-Day would not have been possible if the Allies didn't share air or sea trans.

After "China: Pawn to the Japanese", Nat. China keeps it's cores, and the results are: Chinese Sinkiang & Dailan (so far) - Japan is handling it's provs to China...

Statistic screen #3 : It would be nice to have two more columns, with the two plants

Statistic screen: It would be nice to have more elaborate tooltip. For example, screen #10, column SDC. The tooltip is "sort by SDC" What SDC stands for?

Statistic screen #25 & 26, French version. The correct spelling is "Camions", not "Cammions"

Supply map: It woulb be nice to have the "supply efficiency" tooltip when you have the cursor above a province EVEN if a unit is selected (works only if no unit selected). And I think this info should be available for all the maps.

Furthermore, would it be possible to have all the modifiers available in the tooltip for the calculation of this value? Idem for the IC/materials value (on the map, opposed to real), at least on the economic map.

In the "convoi" creation window, could it be possible to have the following tool: By clicking on the convoi icone, you would add the minimum convoi number required. One more click, and you would have twice this number. Etc... For the escort, one click for 5 escorts, two clicks for 10, and so on...

Congratulation for the work done!

My friends and I were playing a multiplayer game, in which three of them were fighting over Romania. It was Germany v.s. Romania and the Soviet Union. The German player convinced the Romanian that it would be best to surrender and become his puppet (Germans and Yugoslavians had almost overran all of Romania). However, the Soviet player still had a presence in part of the country. After Romania surrendered and became a puppet of Germany, the Soviet player lost all of his troops. They were not redeployed or anything, just completely annihilated.

I know it's an obscure situation that will probably only happen in multiplayer, but it could use a fix.

Do you have a save game file for this?
