I see threads about battle statistics (especially for the air war) -as in how many planes were loss, etc. I also would like to see battle results, casualty reports, equipment losses etc. I cannot, for the life of me, find where this information is hidden. Can someone please enlighten me?

Thanks!

Not available.

Then how do players say stuff like this:

WW2 is all of 2.5 months old. And almost all of my fighters have been shot down.

Over Western Germany I've lost 2376 fighters, while shooting down 2116 fighters and 593 bombers. I only lost 49 over Poland.

What gives here? I have FIFTEEN Bf 109s and 50 He 51s left in my entire airforce...

Air combat is a bloodbath

Well actually this is a bloodbath and seeing its the final result, it is even not too far from history:

I really do not want to create a thread for this so I'll try asking again.

Is it possible to upgrade my Cadet version of the game to the Field Marshal edition?

It just seems more worth it than buying just the expansion pack.

I pre ordered Cadet because I had never played HOI but I actually liked it quite a bit.

Ok, playing a game as Italy, manpower is a bit of a stretch so I'm trying to focus my muscle on specific areas at once to break through and clear out fronts one at a time. I have a few troops in reserve holding key points in mainland Italy, but since I managed to capture both Gibraltar and Suez, then gain 100% naval superiority across the entire Med, I thought I'd be fine.

So I pull off most of my troops to finish off some territory in Africa and help the Germans with their invasion of Norway, when I see British troops have invaded Corsica and northern Italy. Here's where I'm really, really confused.

I have air superiority over the entire landmass, and it shows 100% naval superiority across the Med, yet they've somehow still managed to do two naval invasions? What gives? Whenever I try a naval invasion I have to have control with my own ships in the area before it would let me, but they pulled off a ninja invasion without an escort while my fleets are still on patrol? Am I doing something wrong, or do I seriously have to have a garrison force across the entire coast 100% of the time regardless of sea control? Seems to kind of defeat the purpose of controlling the water in the first place.

Thought I had Anschluss figured out... I was wrong. I have 557K men deployed in the field. This includes just under 30K volunteering in the liberation of Nationalist Spain and another 90K doing push-ups in various German fields. It's May, 1937.

Why can't I make Anschluss my National Focus?

Double check that you have the full 500k deployed to the field. The manpower indicator on the main tab shows all manpower used- including that which is still in recruitment. If you use the army tab from the top right of the screen, you can see how much is actually deployed. Odds are, you could ship out the troops you've got in training green and hit the mark you need, then train them in the field.

Are there any limitations (political alignment, tension level, etc.) on when nations can join the Allies?
Democracies can join factions at 80%, Non-aligned can join at 40%. Others have no restriction but are generally unlikely to join the allies (you'll see it from Spain occasionally, but usually at high world tension). Non-democracies are also less likely to be invited to join the Allies.

It was likely damaged by bombing. Check if it shows up as repairs in your construction queue.
The cap is pre-war. no damage. the airstrip in question is part of the Rhine. Upgraded the airstrip after completing the re-militarization of the Rhineland.

Sorry if Im asking an basic question but are you mistaking the max squadrom size for a airbase capacity limit?

no I figured it out as airstrip limit based on moving planes to the airstrip (closer to the French front). I noticed that the limit when it said 2000/600 and was colored red. Tool tip stated that it was over-crowded. I thought I had forgotten to upgrade that state's airstrips. But it showed 10/10 when I checked it.

Do civil wars destroy infrastructure? I've just fought one as Britain and found I've lost 5 naval yards and 1 mil factory (not damaged, plain gone). Is this normal or is something screwy going on?

How does "Lend Lease" work with a country that is land locked?

I can add equipment to give them, but obviously their convoy requirements show 0/###, because they have no convoys...

Hey guys ,

I just need urgent help !
And although I can the game currently does not quit because any naval invasion is impossible. The tooltip says that no transporters are reserverd. I hope someone can help me, :(

Yep, convoys are required, even if there is a land connection between the two countries. I assume this is a design oversight, and hope that they will fix it at some point.

Do you have enough convoys available for the plan? You may need to build more. Also make sure your plan is not exceeding the limit of the number of divisions you can have doing a naval invasion at the same time. The default for the first level of transports is 10 divisions. That's not 10 divisions per plan, that's 10 divisions for ALL plans at any given time.

How can I see if i have enough transporters?

The top bar on the screen will show how many convoys you have available. You may be using them all for trade. What country are you playing as? Not all countries start with the first level of transports researched, and if you don't have that, it won't let you do invasions.

So, can anyone else confirm that the AI is not bound by the naval superiority requirement for naval invasions? Seems very gamey that they can dodge around requirements imposed on the player.
