I didn't expect you to own up to it. ;)

I thought esemesas may be a resistance member owing to the fact that he nominated me, a resistance member, and you, allegiance unknown. Alternatively, he could be a spy who nominated two resistance, or a spy who nominated another spy and a resistance member to let one of the spies approve the team and "clear" them a little.

This game is harder than Werewolf...
 
People who live in glass houses, tamius, shouldn't throw stones.

And a very spy-ish team tamius proposed here. Essentially you're making it an at least 66% chance to have a spy on that team.
 
Not only do I not approve of this team because esemesas and tamius are included (reason why that is not a good idea have already been given by others), but I also don't like it that Cliges is in this team.

So my conclusion is clear : REJECT

And I don't see a reason to change my vote later, so I give the GREEN light for continuing too.

For pretty much the same reasons as AVN. I don't like the Cliges and esemesas are on the team. Tamius I'm less wary about, as this seems like an honest (yet misguided) attempt to find a spy.
 
I do believe we have everyone's vote and that this team is rejected 7-to-1 (one safe assumption is that tamius approves of it...)

So if there's no objections, let's just move on the the next Leader, namely Kingepyon
 
I should say that I am likely to not vote any team that includes anyone from team 1 or myself. Hoping to clear my name here, some have been casting aspersions on me.

If esemesas is a spy he would probably choose two resistance members, not spies, for his team. He can't talk to his fellow spies so if there are other spies in his team he'd risk giving us multiple rejections to work with.

@kingepyon - I'd like to see cymsdale on this one, I think. And me - but I will understand if you don't like that particular option :p


@falc - I presume the rules do not prohibit me from sending PM's to other players to talk about *other games*, right?
Otherwise, playing diplomacy and The Resistance simultaneously will get a tad tricky ..

We have 8 players, of which 3 are spies. If we choose 3 players at random, the odds of getting a spy on that team are rather high. Since I think it likely only one spy was on that team, in the remaining 5 players, we are likely to have 2 spies.. Which means you cannot put together a team with 3 random people who weren't on the first team without getting a spy in there.

And if the leader was a spy, odds are good that the other two players aren't. Which, for the record, I think is what is probably happening here - esemesas is imho the most likely spy out of the tamius / esemesas pair.
 
Yeah, for the four man team that might be hard to arrange in practice. But it's possible mathematically.
 
I can't propose a team officially because I'm not the leader, but I can certainly propose a proposal. I suggest Kingepyon proposes himself, Xarkan, me and AVN.

I would approve of this team.
