Sengoku pre-order delayed!

Welp.
Whatever, I used the discount to buy a gift copy.

Maybe it was up by the time I bought my own copy, but I was at the Uni and FB is blocked there.

Ok, no more the IT Crowd references...I've just remembered that I actually have a facebook account, I don't remember why. Here, I like the game even if I haven't seen it once. But thanks for a nice discount!
 
Good to see the random facebookers got the discount. I'm heartily disappointed that I missed it by a few hours though. While I like the idea I would have to say that this was probably a marketing fail this time. A poor implementation of the discount has left a sour taste in my mouth and possibly in other supporters mouths. Call me fickle but, well I'm fickle.
 
I guess liking Paradox wasn't enough. Oops. Oh wells there are other games releasing i guess.

edit: Oh it still works. I guess i just lost track between CK, paradox and the other games.

Does it still work? I've tried a dozen times. What did you do differently to me?
 
it doesn't work anymore... man, what a bummer.

i'm still waiting for the updated status picture from that last multiplayer btw =P

I'm totally going for an Ouchi game once i get the game, next, maybe a Miyoshi one, i'm going to enjoy leveling the Hosokawa, ya, gonna enjoy that way too much, after that, maybe an imagawa run, and this time, i'm NOT giving Soun Izu or Sagami provinces xD
 
They could have just posted the discount code here...using the STICKY feature.

Oh well..it matters not. I don't have ill feelings towards Paradox in any way, and I'll gladly pay full price for Sengoku.
 
Yeah that was a bit of a limited time, considering there was no notification as I didn't get a message on facebook or by email...

Guess I'll wait now for the 'regular' pre order bonus on the 9th :)
 
There will be another pre-release discount offered on 9 Sept, if my memory serves me right. I recall reading that in a Sengoku facebook page entry, but I doubt it will be 20% off.

I guess we need to keep an open eye/ear for the official word on the 2nd discount offering.

Meh, this was handled pretty poorly. This is going to be the first major Paradox game in years that I wont be preordering. Ill probably wait for a patch or sale if I get it at all.

Heh, thats me =). Although the preorder bonus needs to be nice and pretty to pique my interest again. Otherwise I'll need to wait for a big sale. They have them fairly often and often for much more than 20% off.
 
Apparently, the facebook preorder discount code for the preorder event WAS in my ["other" message folder] of my main message folder in facebook. I just found it today.

I received no notice of this whatsoever...but it was there this whole time...

In fact, the message was marked as sent (by sengoku team) on Thursday (1 September).

I think it is fair to say that Steam owns facebook, at least in part, in some miraculous way.... Maybe they had conspired to conspire.
 
What, I'm away for the weekend and the preorder has already come and gone?
And I've checked in here and on facebook for weeks.
Give me a break!!!

Edit:
I went to the FB page and the preorder code is still there. I then tried to preorder at GG using that code, but it said it was invalid.
Should I keep the code for later or was it just too bad too late.
