This means that em signatures produced by unmanned installations (DSTS, automines) count as well as orbital installations like shipyards. The latter we can tow in, instead of having to use freighter capacity.

So the peaceniks have been proven wrong on one set of Aliens... I expect they'll be proven wrong on the others too. Where is the Navy?!

;)

We aren't at war yet.

It will take a while for the Spaceport to reach Harmony, since it requires far too many Freighters to carry it for me to pull my usual trick of using a super-tug to haul the Freighter there. Not enough super-tugs.

If the Modrons will just hesitate for another week or two...

I am glad for that but, honestly, it is one of those things you just assume is widely know on a forum dedicated to strategic gaming.

Aside from that comic, don't forget I'm dutch. My World War II history focuses on the European side of it.

(Which now that I think of it explains why so many Americans don't know how Hitler rose to power - but that's a serious digression...)

A lot of Americans don't know how Hutler rose to power?

A lot of Americans don't know how Hutler rose to power?

Anyone with real knowledge of how he and his party rose to power will not fail to miss the obvious and glaring similarities with a political group that has been operating in exactly the same way since 2016 or so.

And that's all I will say on the matter, because it would be really off topic.

What shocks me most about Hitler is that most Americans don't realize he was a socialist or that nazi stands for national socialist workers party.
I didn't know you were Dutch
That is a blind spot of mine.

He wasn't. The NSDAP was a semi-socialist party before he joined but he hated both the socialists and the communists with a vengeance, and felt both Communism and Capitalism were equally bad.
After he joined, only the name still associated them with the term 'socialist'.

Most tellingly, the first people he threw into concentration camps were the left wing opposition: The communists and the socialists.
Not the jews, the handicapped, the gay, or the gypsies - the political left.

Of course that bit of history is one of those things you americans have never been taught.

Fair enough.

The war begins New
Harmony system.

140 missiles have been launched by the Modrons... without a declaration of war!

Presumably we are the target?

Yes, they are aimed at us.

Not sure if the target is the Fleet or the planet, but the missiles are definitely aimed at us.
