Try to disable the Valyrian Faith mod?

If not, disable the mods one by one and you will find out which one is causing issues.

I've looked through the code, some of it is a bit off hence it will likely be the cause of your issues

All right. Thanks. Just realised that for some reason I also have the Age Customizer. Although why this would affect my game is beyond me.

Either way, After having ran all of the mods together, if I play without one of them e.g Valyrian faith or whatever, the traits in my save start to get randomly assigned and everything looks very messed up.

Basically I'm running 9 mods, though.

  • Bloodlines v4: Introduces a trait-orientated bloodline system into the game for major dynasties. Comes also with a no limit version that allows the trait to be inherited always. — blackninja9939
  • Challenge to Duel: Introduces the ability to challenge other characters to a duel through a personal interaction. — blackninja9939
  • Colonise Valyria: Turns Valyria into ruins so that they could be colonized; Valyrians get to restore the ancient kingdom. — blackninja9939
  • Congenital Overhaul v0.9.6: Hairstyles, clothing and valyrian blades improvement along with a minor trait overhaul; comes also with a version limited to the visual improvements for those who do not want the gameplay changes. — LancelotLoire
  • Dynastic stability: prevents dynasties from dying out so easily. — blackninja9939
  • More Decisions v6.1: Introduces a myriod of new decisions for the player, signficiantly increasing gameplay options. — blackninja9939
  • SuperTechmarine's Building Overhaul: A complete overhaul of construction, making it a much more essential part of gameplay (building tree akin to a spiderweb). — SuperTechmarine and Claed
  • Valyrian Faith Mod: a submod for the Colonise Valyria mod that fleshes out the Valyrian religion. — acprince

+ The Age Customizer

To be honest. Not having plots working properly for me isn't killing my game. But plots seem to be affected in a few other ways too.

Is there a way to get my game back on the straight and narrow without screwing up the traits?

Yeah that is another issue entirely, save games store traits as numerical ids which are determined upon load. If you disable a mod that adds traits then upon the loads of that save the numerical ids of the traits are determined again but will be different as you are not using some from a submod. This causes the game to then read the save games numerical traits but they will correspond to different traits in the load.
Basically if a submod adds traits you cannot stop or start using in an existing save.

hey im trying to play a save i have from 2 weeks ago and i just noiced that somehow my character Aegon (72 yrs old) has somehow become mute and a dothraki???? not sure what the conflict is bc before i went on vacation it worked just fine.

Okay, so, to close the book on my previous issue, it turns out that I didn't notice that the mod had updated to a new version and I was using an older one. I'd like the thank the staff here for addressing my issue, even if the issue was that I was an idiot that didn't realize that I just couldn't read good.

Something weird that's been happening, same combination of mods as the last time I posted (Dynastic Stability, Bloodlines, More Decisions, Congenital Overhaul): for some reason, in the next generation of heirs and such, the Lannisters of Casterly Rock just start being born as worshipers of the Drowned God. Like, Loren's grandson will be born and, despite his mother and father both being Faith of The Seven, he'll be a Drowned God worshipper. Even if you convert him to Faith of The Seven through a Septon, his children will be born Drowned God.

Next time please use the search function. This is a bug in the current version with an event to give Lannisters historical like names, simply go into the dynasty_events file and remove the line religion = drowned_god in the lannister naming event

still expierencing some Submod conflicts any help would be greatly appreciated

Must say, the Colonize Valyria SMod is awesome, kudos on the creators. However I got some issues, and maybe somebody can help. Currently using Congenital Overhaul, Valyrian Faith and Colonize Valyria:

-I can´t start a Daenerys scenario, either AFFC or ACOK, with the combination. A CTD takes place few days after start.
-End Plot diplomatic request seems to be quite impossible for most plots.
-Buying off plot supporters seems to be impossible. Their support doesn´t turn green thumbs up when payed being a yellow so-so hand, this meaning many plots are actually impossible to complete.
-When recreating the Freehold and organizing a Republic it turns back to Monarchy after a few days.

With the possible exception of Blackninja, none of the other mod creators have commented (perhaps ever) on individual compatibility between the mods, in this case the mods in version 0.9.6.

It would be pretty helpful if they were to state the compatibility upon submission of their mod(s).

He most likely loaded up with a different set of submods so the traits will be messed up
if it updated i didn't notice. and i used the same submods i'm sure of it. i was getting traits like aegon the conqueror had the dothraki trait. which definitely raised an eyebrow. i notice many other misplaced traits.

I am having some serious issue with these submods. I've been playing the game without a hitch using the colonize Valyria submod, but when I try some others, things just go haywire. First, the Congenital Overhaul, hair styles and clothes weren't aligned with the portrait, but were beside them, and events didn't finish, like reforging a Valyrian steel sword, my smith just kept it even though I got the message that it was a success. I've given up trying to use the Legendary Fighter submod since that seems to crash my game. Now I'm trying to use the Valyrian faith submods. The game loads, but almost immediately crashes when I begin a game. Just now my game crashed when I went to view the Iron Throne's history to bookmark Dany so I could marry her when she hopefully loses widowed. Then I got another game running, but I crashed again coming back to Valyria after taming a dragon. I've checked my game logs and could see nothing odd about it. I backtracked my game version to the previous one so I can play the mod, all the required mods needed to play the submods are up to date and as far as I know, so are the submods. Is anyone able to provide an explanation into this?

if the potraits are not aligned means something went wrong with potraits sprites and numbers.
Sadly am not a expert on potraits. especially since HL introduced aditional Pnumber for multiplayer with a purple circle to show that it is a human player.
Sorry if you want to allign the numbers etc. by only using the potraits from cogenitals. ask in the other forum.

think lance should make one that fits for HL only also provides the AGOT team with beter made potraits then the still PNG shots.
that doesn´t break the numbers and overwrites of old clothings. (I know lance gets carried away with stacking up armours etc on potraits)
But still those are good looking armours.
