My scientist was maimed then synthetically ascended the next month. Made me wonder why they didn't give him an unmaimed body.

Fixed it for you.

And now ladies and gentlemen, I give you the match of the century. In the red trunks, hailing from the core of a pulsar, it is the wraith!

And in the blue trunks, with the home field advantage, it is the shard!

Well? Who won?

The Wraith will lose to pre-Megacorp Caravaneers (and maybe the Megacorp version, too). Much to my dismay, since it was heading out of my territory at the time and I was hoping it'd kick my rival around a bit.

Wraith is the weekest guardian barring astroid hive. It will even lose to artisians' station.
The problem is that it appears early and is highly mobile. I actually have issue catching the dang thing.

There's nobody home, but my government insists that these planets are still inhabited. Trust us.

After having been given a stern talking to by the Prossnakan Protectors for becoming soulless metal abominations or some such, they determined that my people are actually the chosen soulless metal abominations, which means we're super special awesome and don't have to worry about getting our metallic butts handed to us by a very disappointed fallen empire. I'm sure there are absolutely no conflicting messages or doctrinal misinterpretations here. Move along.

I can practically hear the consternation dripping off their representative's face.

I can practically hear the consternation dripping off their representative's face.

I just had a game where I did synth ascension and they declared war on me for it.

Then 2-3 months later found Zarqlan, and they told me how my species was the chosen ones and they would love for me to take all their holy worlds.

I enjoyed turning them into synths.

This could either be the case of the visual mods (Immersive Galaxy, the bug Fix one specifically) Im using, though I havent seen it before 2.3, or a base game bug. It is caused by the science ship scanning the anomaly, as no other black holes showed this effect. It looks really cool IMO.

I'm pretty sure it's a bug in the base game. I've seen it, and I'm not using any visual mods.
