Already have 14 and yet digging this chapter. I think this drone just likes digging.

And it's finally finished. Yes, blocker has been cleared.

Alert, spoilers ahead.

I've decided to chitchat with a fellow mind.

And I am not entirely sure if it was worth it.

(I took +20 AC)

Just for curiosity, what are your ethics?
I've got the same event, but with another outcome, that gave me a special governor.

The Oracle governor is the AI. You can either get the governor or the +20 Admin Cap, but not both.
Yeah, I've read the story while it being digged.

The whole habitable orbital station were found. Pretty intact - it didn't get apart, most of interior was in a good shape and station servers yet contained recoverable data.

Just imagine. Bazillion tons of alloys found. Even not a wreckage. Surveyed, researched. And all the outcome is immaterial AI.
Where the very station had gone? Its walls, foundation, etc?
At least, we have got lorewise answer for hungry swarm.

If you disassemble the AI and the station you get a huge chunk of alloys and other resources IIRC, so... that's already accounted for as an option.

Literally unplayable.

Plot twist: The planetoid you see there IS one of the moons, and the actual dig site planet is too small to see in comparison. But presumably dense enough to have a huge moon. Where is the second moon then...? Also obscured of course! This is all totally possible, I'm sure, and has no logical inconsistencies of any kind!

Yeah, that's how it is implemented it the game, but it still doesn't make any sense.

I mean, the AI core. Okay, for SOME REASON it can't be reproduced, reverse-engineered, copied or whatever - we either using it as some unique unit of hardware, or scrapping it for materials. With this, I'm fine.

I'm not fine with the whole station except the AI core. Where was it gone? How? Why?

Well, just to be a party pooper, Jupiter and Saturn don't have all 500 or whatever of their moons depicted in-game. So, those 2 moons could still be there. Just not interesting from a game perspective or whatever... :p

I guess... Still, "large moons" implies something like Ganymede or Europa, both of which are in the game. :p

Perhaps they should restrict that site for planets that do have moons. Or reword the text to reflect its in-game situation.

Fixed it for you. :)

I've just got the system with the tomb world primitives, but somehow, they don't seem so primitive anymore

And as a bonus, their other world has the Dead God modifier.

It makes me wonder if they entering in war against each other had something to do with it.
