That's stupid. We have at least one more mission to go. If this is sabotaged I am definitely going to allow for that option to exist, even if he does get to hand out the cards.
Perhaps *especially* if he gets to hand out cards.
It's no "if", it's definite. And if he is a Spy, he likely won't even need to hide it.

This team is gonna fail but I guess I have no choice but to accept.

Well, I normally would just state that the 5th proposal gets accepted 8-0 without bothering with votes, but you all managed to vote before I could say anything

Votes tallied:

APPROVE: all
REJECT: none

Proposal is approved 8 votes to 0.

The Mission fails due to 1 sabotage.

The flying car. Mankind's dream ever since there have been cars and planes. The skilled team of agents have absolutely no problem stealing it and flying it to London.

However, after parking it outside if the MI6 headquarters, they later return to find it stolen! Someone left the keys in!!!

Mission 3

A crazed Russian submarine commander

Your third mission, which will be your absolute final one and only chance to redeem yourselves, will be to stop a crazed Russian submarine commander who has gone rogue and who threatens to blow up the land under the North Pole.

Agent 007 jpr123
, we need you to assemble a Team of 4 Agents to stop this madman.

To assist you, Q division has made the following available to you:

Proximity Video Camera - The Agent who receives this Gadger may keep it and use it later to learn whether an Agent supported or sabotaged a Mission. The use of this Gadget must be declared before the Mission result is revealed by the GM. This may be preloaded.

Symbol of Leadership - The Agent who receives this Gadget may keep it and use it later to become Leader for the next Team proposal. If the next Team proposal is the first of a new Mission, he will also be allowed to distribute the Gadgets for that Mission. Once this proposal is handled, the next Leader is the player whose place the agent took in the established order. The use of this Gadget must be declared before the next Leader does anything or before Gadgets are revealed. This may be preloaded.

You deserved that, and I'm pretty sure Aedan is a spy now.

So JPR is the spy. I suspected that a while ago, but no you guys said spies wouldn't be that obvious. Though I suspect that I'll be blamed for this like usual.

Actually that would make sense JPR asked who we'd prefer everyone said me but he chose you likely to blame you, much more of a spy move imo.

I don't want to say it but - scratch that, I absolutely do.

I told you so.

Repeatedly. But did anyone listen? No.

Sure, go ahead, give glio and randy a chance to sabotage a 3rd mission team in a row. Because that will somehow magically work....

Cards are rubbish as well. :(

TnT how did Randy and Glio prevent a double sabotage? if what you say is true.

This is actually not a question, were I a Spy, with me being in the Spotlight, a double sabotage would be impossible. However the same is true if I were a Spy together with TnT, just saying.

In the last mission there couldn't have been a completely foolproof way to avoid double sabotage but both are professionals. I would guess that whoever did not sabotage mission 1 did it now. Also possible is that whoever was mentioned first in the team roster did it (as a variant of the old leader sabotages theory).

Also supporting was not very much risk (for them). Worst case is, that both support. The exact same team would have been picked for mission 3 which would have given them another shot and their position really would not have been hurt very much.

If you asked about the first mission, that's trivial. One of them would have known that there is another spy on the team and would have switched to support in any case.

Edit: ItS might have complicated things but randakar could have been reasonably sure that glio would support in public.

Err. I said that about Tamius and Cliges, not about JPR. Or you.
Which obviously is true, now that we have a certain spy in the set aedan/jpr/glio
Or are you talking about tamius handing the SL card to JPR? Because yeah, that's a bit too obvious, too.

Actually that would make sense JPR asked who we'd prefer everyone said me but he chose you likely to blame you, much more of a spy move imo.

Yeah. I fully agree with that one.

Oh, hush. It was fairly obvious you knew there was a spy in that last team. And possible the team before that, too.
You are just trying to claim credit to make yourself look good.

Quite.

Right. So we magically decided on a strategy out here in the open? I don't think so, TNT :)

Now you're just saying what you have to say.
I'm giving you an A for effort, though. Many people in your position would just have given up ..

Could have, would have - all of that is academic because it isn't true. :)
A spy has *one* spy name. Odds of me knowing glio was a spy in that case? About 1 in 3 .. and then, there is the little fact that I announced that spotlight card up front, and told you I would use it on other teams, too. There is no way I could have organized it like you describe under those circumstances.

Actually, I just wanted to point out, since Spotlight forces to send order publicly, a Spy may make a conditional preload "sabotage if spymate publicly supports and support otherwise". Just saying.

I say team of Glio, Randy, me, and Aedan. Its a risk but it may be the best shot we got.

The math-nazi GM would like to point out it's 1 in 2, since you won't be given your own name as contact.

Right .. there are three spies in this game, not four. My bad. Still had the previous game on my mind there.

That only works if you know who your spymate is.
Though I must say the thought did cross my mind that it could also be you: TNT proposed that first team, putting a spymate on there would have been pretty easy. Who I put the spotlight on would not really matter in that case, whichever of you got lit up would simply send that order you describe above.

Ok well the games lost.

I'm afraid I'm not at all in the mood to play properly and actually defend myself. Feel free to believe I am a spy.

Proximity Video Camera to TNT
Symbol of leadership to Gliomarto
