I see Mamluks are now called "Mamluk Sultanate of Egypt" - that's cool!

This was a quite special form of government. What happens if, say, they get overthrown by a peasant or religious radicals revolt? Will the country be called simply Egypt? Or maybe it will be possible to form Egypt when you get a better technology?

According to wikipedia the Usfurids were still around somewhere in eastern Arabia in 1337

Maybe they lived somewhere between the Hüleguids and the Jarwanids?

EDIT:
Based on a post from the original thread, I looked into the Usfurids/Bani Asfour and it seems clear they should still be present in the northern half of Eastern Arabia, as they had just lost Bahrain and Qatif to Hormuz and their Jarwanid allies/vassals (yeah Jarwanids should be much smaller and perhaps sworn to Hormuz)

English and Arabic wiki both agree they survived into the late 14th century, and in 1354 they were able to defeat the Mongols and seize Basra and the lands around it, until defeated by the Jalayirids, implying a significant degree of power persisted. They were also known to have very good relations with the Mamluks around 1340. As they were famous horse traders, some more Horses could perhaps be added to their lands

I drew a map of what their borders would approximately look like at the start, circled in red:

The post also mentioned Jabrids, but its clear they only emerged as a power in Eastern Arabia in the early 15th century. Their origins are pretty unclear, with some suggesting they came from the Bani Amer tribe that was a part of the Usfurid realm, and others that they came from the city of Zabid in Yemen, which Jabour, the grandfather of the dynasty's founder supposedly ruled until 1345 - however, given that Zabid was still a secondary capital to the Rasulids, this seems less likely. You could perhaps add him as a character in the Yemeni court, to represent this.

Updated the post to include the addition of the Usfurids, which should really controll the northern half of the current Jarwanid lands

More Wasteland splitting suggestion,

I kept Rub Al Khali big so that it will only be colored when you take big chunks of Especially Northern part (since I created small chunks in Yemen and Oman),

Also I created wastelands considering how many locations it will take to be colored

Judaism, the color got changed. I'm double-checking now if we can change it again since it's a bit confusing in locations with Miaphysite pops also present.
Change it to white or light blue, since there aren't many religions with those colours around especially in the middle east

Ormus should also own the location of Al-Qatif, from Pedro Teixeira's translation of the state history of the kingdom:

Xa Kodbadin refers to the current ruler, Qutb ad-Din, who conquered Barhen (Bahrain) and Katifa (Qatif) in 1330-1331

Also, Dhofar (Zafari, the kingdom) should be a little smaller, basically just the locations with Dhofari culture rather than the whole province and island of Socotra, Ibn Battuta wrote that it had no dependencies:

Qutb ad-Din is a hell of a name.

Any of you know which of these is the precessor state of "Najd" from the unrelated game of EUIV? I had fun playing it, and it seems like it will be fun to play in this region once pc comes out.

None of them, really. EU4's Najd is basically made up and is a stand-in for a loose grouping of tribal groupings that were not actually united in the period. It even features the House of Sa'ud several centuries early (or at least a few decades early if you consider al Muraydi a member of the Saudi dynasty). Seeing as al Muraydi came from somewhere near Qatif, the closest thing to the line that becomes what Najd in EU4 is aiming for is currently under the rule of Ormus.

Complicated answer since EUIV Najd isn't an actual historical nation as Najd intends to represent the Saudi states that only came into being in the XVIII century. Prior to this the Ibn Saud were an important family in the area of Diriyah, so I suppose whatever factions holds it at start could be seen as the most accurate predecessor.

Sure. So the population would be Sunni while the country itself, isn't.
Yes, but the religion map does not show state-accepted religion.
If you would kindly look towards the country of Yemen, you can notice Sunni majority locations with or without Shia minority, as well as Shia majority locations with or without Sunni minority. So the map shows the major religion and secondary religion of a location based on Population.
And since the population of Shia was never the majority in the Hejaz Region, especially around Mecca and Medina, the map is wrong and needs to be corrected. @Pavía

I actually prefer lighter colours for wastelands and sea because pitch black forces you to concentrate your gaze on it, and that's the part of the map you have no interest in.

If it causes dizziness to some people it could be light gray, but I really rather not have these huge splashes of black here.
Maybe make it a setting? IMO the tan is much better than pitch black

Going back to the Najd question and to give a precise answer. While there is no exact predecessor to the Saudi state, the closest options for a 'canon' Najd run are either Kilab from a geographical perspective or Anizah from a tribal one.

My only issue is that Sunni, Shia, and Ibadi colors need to better, Sunni is okay, Shia should have more yellowish-dent, and Ibadi slightly more blue. I know there are other religions but this was very annoying in EU4. Especially since Islam is one of the largest religions in the period.
