True. The Budjak was Albanian! Albanians came there after being driven out of their homeland in Xinjiang. You thought Albanians were descended from Illyrians?!?! Ha!!! They're actually descended from Tocharians!!!

I will use a Soviet source, because they are so well-known for their accuracy, that was so good even another fellow Soviet historian called unconvincing as it made mistakes! I mean, sure yes, this source believes Romanians =/= Moldovans because it's part of the Soviet framework that says Vlach =/= Voloch even though nobody believed that except USSR so they can claim Moldovans are not Romanians, but the source is reliable, trust me! Aside from personal estimations which the author doesn't explain and the bad math that is only a calculator away, the source is very good! I mean the historian who pointed out the random numbers he made up and even with these numbers the bad math in between was Romanian, what does he know? Calculators work different in Romania. There's more Ukrainians & Russians users frequenting this topic so majority rule must mean I'm right! This is how this works! Following the crowd because there's multiple Ukrainians & Russians here and only 1 Romanian is so good.

And besides..... he is talking about proletariat uniting against burgoaoise concept of nationality. Working class peasents against multinational aristocracy.

And he is right, calculators do compute differently in the Balkans, didnt Milosevic won an election with 115% participation?

Hi, I have a question about Elbasan/Çermenikë. While it's hard to find an older name for Elbasan city prior to the Ottoman conquest, Italian wikipedia did list various names for several languages, such as Terra Nuova in Italian, Neokastron in Greek, and Novigrad in Serbian/Bulgarian. I was just wondering if you know how credible those names are.

Living on the edge is the Balkan way to go.
Good Goulash needs its time and fire to stew properly all its onions, bear, boar and dear meats. Wine makes it all that much better, I would dance while I wait.... god knows how long the HRE feedback will take....

....ooooo maybe we are getting HRE TMfeedback with Friday's spoiling of Bohemians

If you look at the sources they took that from Robert Elsies books so it is credible since he is preety much the only person to study the culture language and general region to such detail.

The Moldova discussion has been spammed to exhaustion, and the mods have already made it clear to move on. But I dont see why Albania is even being brought into this unless you have an actual reason beyond just trying to drag it in for no purpose. Stick to the topic instead of forcing comparisons that dont exist.
