Both events are all positive! the negatives are all for the natives
I was thinking, as some of the inhabitants of Vinland are Christian and others believe in the asatro, you could have some events about that. In Sweden at least, rivalry between pagans (with pagans I mean Asa believers) and Christians could take quite large proportions (eg pagans improve the temple, Christians improve the church, pagans improve the temple, Christians raze the temple). Maybe this rivalry could be reflected with some random event causing a stab hit?
how about an event called "Odins Hammer" in which odin comes down from valhalla and kills 500 people in a random province. We can have one called A plague from the Lord for the christian countereffect.

I have added a random event for the occassional "accidental" murder that might crop up.
i made an event for fish!! Maybe change natives in it to 'skraelings' or whatever though! +100 ducats! and +1 stability ( potentially - i am awaiting feedback ) i have a new idea for vinland to inherit denmark/norway but i need to research a few facts first
One of the big pushes for colonization was the fact that the punishment for murder was exile, maybe make it add +1 colonists

The first part is related with níðing, (which in modern Swedish sounds very funny, "du din niding!!"
