If we're talking Spanish Civil War, it'd be really good to have an on-map indicator of which provinces are affected by the "Unplanned Offensive" penalty. Having to periodically click every province to tell where you can and cannot effectively attack is tedious.
Just on the subject, the 'Spanish Civil War: Vanilla +' mod adds notifications to countries via an event to countries who have sent volunteers, when an offensive gets planned and 'unplanned offensive' gets removed.

- Reworked the Infantry Tank MIO to now apply modifiers to all tank classes rather than on a per-class basis. This means that each tank class now has more than 4-5 relevant nodes.
- Added and tweaked the amount of war support and stability gained through focuses through the alt-history branches for Germany. Also modified Wilhelm II's country leader trait
- It is now possible to seize Turkey's Gold Reserves as Germany, and a country can now capitulate to a German faction member (so not just Germany or one of its subjects) for Germany to be able to seize the Gold reserve of the territory they're holding of said nation.
- AI should be more interested in constructing Land Cruisers, if they have the chance.
- Tweaking the German AI to behave more historically by wanting and producing more submarines and strengthening it overall by making it focus its pp on upgrade conscription laws and such.
- Fleet Submarines Special Project now require 1940 Submarine / 1940 Submarine Hull to be researched instead of their 1936 Variant.
- AIP Engine Unique Reward - Option A, now provides -5% Visibility instead of -10%.
- The Return of the Kaiser focus now checks if the controller of Friesland is at war with Germany as a requirement, instead of checking if the Dutch specifically is at war with Germany. If Germany or one of its puppets control the state, Wilhelm II will automatically get reinstated as the Kaiser.
- Tweaked values for Land Cruisers.
- Specialized Helicopter Support Companies can not be combined with Helicopter Brigade (Generalist Helicopter Brigade).
- Added random chance to gain breakthrough progress on steal blueprint mission.

- The Emperor's new Clothes; reinstating Wilhelm II will no longer remove the new monarchist infantry model.

- Swedish national spirit "Hungersköld" is now successfully removed if you build 14 civilian factories or have 45 civilian factories including trade.
- Fixed so that saved event target localizations are now evaluated before Götterdämmerungs extended context localization. Order is now: contextual localization V1; saved event targets; contextual localization V2.
Fix what, exactly? The game starts in either 1936 or 1939, and in the latter scenario, it's irrelevant, as that part of the focus tree is already unavailable.

It's a formable nation introduced in No Step Back and locked to that DLC. Can be formed by all consituent states in the formable's initial area (Tannu Tuva, Buryatia, Vladivostok, Far East, Chukotka, Evenkia, Khakassia, etc.) and can be expanded to include Sakhalin, Hokkaido, and now Manchuria as it is based on a regional entity rather than ethnic.
Among other things, GOT skewed the balance between Industrial and Electronics concerns even more - not only the Industrial one saves far more research days, you also lose some valuable breakthrough points by picking the Electronics one.
While I appreciate the constant updates to newbie traps, this one in particular has become way too obvious to trap that many players and feels rather insultive to our mental powers.
I think the German focus of fortify the fatherland should add AA to its western states as a way to counter early game bombardment from the allies. As currently, the focus can be skipped since France will not attack if you keep a couple of divisions on the border.
It's a 33% chance to gain 0.1 progress in the relevant field (civilian - nuclear etc.). So on average each operation grants whopping 3%. Beware, special projects! We now surely gonna finish you all off!
That said, I'm not sure the nuclear one in particular even works. For comparison, the naval breakthrough progress is given explicitly at the operation outcome screen, and the nuclear one (upon getting the required 300%/2 years stealing roll) reads just bland old text while the breakthrough progress at the facilities screen seems to remain unaffected.

We still need some balance or fix for german reichskommissariats which are a core element of german historical gameplay. Right now the AI just looses them to ever increasing resistance since the ai uses their manpower and guns to recruit useless divisions, then they have no man or guns for garrisons and resistance rises endlesly. So all thei factories get damaged and never repaired and its basicly game over for them. AI needs to be fixed to better handle this or the kommisariats need buffs to make it more easy for them.
