I made some suggestions in how to cut the wastelands so that it looks more clean

Judaism, the color got changed. I'm double-checking now if we can change it again since it's a bit confusing in locations with Miaphysite pops also present.

Do we have Karaite pops in MENA now?

The brighter colors of both wastelands and ocean tiles is producing unnecessary noise imo. It's a bit dizzying.
Also, the color of the sea tiles is bleeding through the market colors a lot more now, making it more difficult to see the transition on similar colored sea tiles.

I prefer the dark background without white lines, as shown in the Germany feedback map.
I would disagree. Pitch black, for me, looks like a strange void.
The new version with sea and land at least gives more depth to those colorings
perhaps it is just the light brown colour people dont like

What happened with dates? Did they get cut and merged with fruits?
It's a shame then.
I really liked how it brought flavor to arid/desertic regions. Maybe it's just me, but It feels weird to see the Arabian península full of fruit, like you would expect to see in a tropical region.

NIce, thank you for changing 'Ibb raw materials into Lumber.

It is still sad that Jeddah is still not a Natural Harbor.
Just added a natural harbor there.

I actually prefer lighter colours for wastelands and sea because pitch black forces you to concentrate your gaze on it, and that's the part of the map you have no interest in.

If it causes dizziness to some people it could be light gray, but I really rather not have these huge splashes of black here.
I have the exact opposite opinion :p I'm not literally becoming dizzy of course, but I do find it harder to read.

As the map mode uses color to convey information, the blues and browns are simply interfering with that, as those parts need to "shut up".
The wastelands will usually be situated on the fringes of the market map mode, where the colors wil be darker and desaturated already anyway.

How about a dark/neutral gray (#424242) for wastelands, and slightly brighter tones for the actual market access maps?
Idk, sth like this: (very crude illustration of what I mean).

In any case, the locations/wastelands that don't participate in the map mode should be a neutral, noninvasive color imo.

So you removed dates, and I see some beeswax but no saffron... basically no reason to bother with raw materials anymore: it will be WIP until the last DLC

Are you being sarcastic? I literally can't tell.

Either way, they said that sea areas will get an overhaul once all the region reviews are done, so hopefully we will get a Gulf of Persia instead of these weird tiny sea areas
I'm serious. Split sea zones make the debate between Arabian and Persian Gulfs void.

Isn't Al an article in Arabic?

This looks like:
the The Trastamara
Yes, we have this issue because they are generated from the locations; so they add a dynamic 'al' prefix because of coming from that location, which is added to the scripted localization 'Al' on those locations that start with it. We're looking towards solving this behavior.

That would be very dumb. People should just grow up and accept that geographical features can have more than one name, and sometimes one is more often used than the other. Or, if people cannot be bothered to accept either one of the names, just make up a third one like "Bay of Mesopotamia" or something and call it a day.

Splitting it to stupidly small sea areas which would have negative in-game effects would be a dumb solution
