Additional Edit. The mod seems to work fine, provided I do not use the included map directory.
EDIT again: It seems that it will load up to the point where you can select your nation without the map directory, but it will not allow me into the actual game without getting rid of the DB directory. Can someone tell me what is going on?I reinstalled EU2 and everything. I'd really like to play this mod.

Do you have a scenarios\save games folder inside the 476 folder?Kelvin said:I've just tried the scenario again. Clean, fresh EU2 install + 1.08, no betas and it works... That is, until you try to save a game. Then it freezes and crashes...
The 476 download contains a folder named '476' that you need to put in your EU2 folder. The 476 is a "moddir". To run it you need to make a copy of your EU2 shortcut (or make a new one to EU2.exe) and modify it by adding 476 to the command line after EU2.exe. When EU2.exe is run with a folder as an argument it will look for its files in that folder first and only files it doesn't find there will be pulled from the main EU2 folder.Machiavellian said:Its been a while since I played EU II and in the past the Mods I played were EEP, AGCEEP, and Mongol Empire. They all had automatic run icons that allowed me to immediately enter the game. However I don't know how to enter the recent mods. I've heard about moddir, but unfortunately don't know what it is or how to access it. Can someone help?

No period, no backslash, just a space is needed before the 476.Machiavellian said:"C:\Program Files\Strategy First\Europa Universalis 2\EU2.exe.476" - That doesn't work. Neither does "C:\Program Files\Strategy First\Europa Universalis 2\EU2.exe\476"
What am I doing wrong?
Lofman said:To clarify what jdrou said, it should look like this:
"C:\Program Files\Strategy First\Europa Universalis 2\EU2.exe" 476
