I played Frankish Kingdom and conquered all of France and Northern Germany as they should. But then I get the events of the splitting into Neustria and Austrasia. Okay, in history the Kingdom was split into these fractions.(also some others, but doesn't matter) But there's no unite event. How can that be? The problem is, that if I choose anything but staying Frankish Kingdom (which includes low stability and high revoltrisk for 30 years!), I'll never get leaders as Charles Martell and Charlemagne. In the real world they was split, but did unite again. Why isn't that included in the events????
Or am I just playing the wrong version, is there a newer update?
Lofman said:Unfortunately the Frankish events are not really finished. In the latest version they divide into Paris, Soissons, Orleans & Rheims after Clovis but the events for dividing it again at the death of Chlothar is unfortunately not made yet.
Filip de Norre said:I must admit I dont know that much of Frankish history, but whom of the nations should I play if I want to recreate the Western Empire with Karl? (Carolus Magnus, but Karl is his real name, as he was German, not French!)
Duc de Guise said:that's funny since the notion of France/French didn't exist until the reign of Philipp II (late XIIth- early XIIIth)o
