An update on my current work/plans:

I have abandoned my long-a-go plans about a 1337 Hundred Years War scenario. Instead, I will use the available nation tags to strengthen the period already covered in AoI.

For the next release, my main concern is to iron out the ID conflicts with some leaders and monarchs. Also, I have added (and will add more) new flags and shields. Several from the excellent GUFSM mod. This will of course make the next download bigger, but that's just the prize you will have to pay...:D

Since I have abandoned my 1337 scenario, I am considering to make a quick 1861 scenario instead - which won't require as much effort, since all the nations and events are already in.

I have also been tweaking several scenarios, especially the 1520 scenario.

If anyone has further suggestions/contributions, let me know.

Hi, i downloaded the 2 betas, but the first one won't open. It says something of the sort "i cant read the archive", and i tried it with several zipper programs

That's because it is in fact an *.exe file. I have written that in the download thread. You have to rename it to AoI.exe. The second file is indeed a zip though, and are not to be renamed.

Funny name btw! :D

weeeeeee, thanks, i looked carefully for an explanation in the forums, but as always i missed it. perhaps i was a blind mouse in my previous life...
I've heard (read) a lot about your mod, and everything was positive, so i hope i enjoy it too:)

I hope you will find my mod as enjoyable as I myself has found it. :)

I am working on a new version btw, be sure to check this thread for updates on my progress...

To Mr. Hive

After carefully monitoring the stability of the game playing EU2, AoN, EEP, and your mod AoI. I actually came to the conculsion that your mod is in fact bugged somewhere, and my game only crahses when i use AoI. I do suggest that you look into this issue.

Secondly the Napolean senario will not work at all, I've tried reinstall many times and still I came to conclude that it is also bugged.

Lastly when the 1861 (American Civil War) senario is completed or still ongoing in development, if theres any way I can help you out, please let me know. Thanks

Mr. Sveland88

I know that it is very bugged. I have stated it several times in this thread (cehck the last 2 pages), and I am working on it.;)

I know about the Napoleon scenario too, and I have stated that in this thread several times as well - but for you, I'll do so again: It is a bug imported from the beta patches, and actually not my fault. I have corrected it for the next release.

I actually haven't started on the 1861 scenario yet, as I have had other stuff to see to (beta testing Victoria, RL).

And as a little bonus I can tell you that I have added A LOT of new flags and shields that I think either look better, are more historical - or both.

Another way this is really good mod . Only promblem is that game will crash in all scenarios after few game month .

Hmm... I know that the beta version is buggy (which I'm working on), but I have managed to play from 1492 to 1900 with my mod... what speed are you running at? Try to slow down a notch...

I have that below normal speed ,but i sometimes put more speed .

EU2 has a tendency to crash at high speed if there are a lot of nations and events... but my mod itself has some conflicts and bugs, as earlier mentioned, but I'm working on a new version that should be bug-free.

Normal Eu2 have never crash when i have played with faster time ,but perhaps is those bugs . And thank you for good mod . :)

Glad to hear you like the mod. :)

I know that regular EU2 ain't crashing (much) on high speeds, but the extra nations and many new events - plus of course the bugs - causes AoI to crash once in a while...

Hi Hive,

I just wanted to know when the new version of your mod is finished! Is it a matter of weeks or a matter of days?

Thanks!

P.S. excellent mod and my favourite one too!!

It's always nice to hear from people who play and like my mod.:)

I hope to have the next version ready in about a week, but I can't promise anything.

Sounds promising . I like sometimes use that max speed when i dont have anything to do so i wait and use that

I'm looking forward to play your mod as the release of Victoria by Koch Media has been delayed!!

Hive, I hope you are working on your mod! Please forget playing Victoria just a little while longer! ;)

Just make sure that ALL events from Victoria are included in your mod as you are working in the same timeframe! :D
